How can one bounce back from public humiliation and bullying? Natalie Manuel Lee talks to model and entrepreneur Jordyn Woods about her experience with public shaming. Jordyn speaks openly about the tools she used to regain her strength and how faith is guiding her in discovering her path. This is an important conversation about owning your actions without carrying shame and letting go of the damaging effects of bullying.
Culture often dictates that our worth, path and identity are determined by our race, our gender, the things we’ve done, and the things that have been done to us. In this series, host Natalie Manuel Lee, digs beneath the surface to uncover what it really means to be bold, transparent and confront our shame. She speaks with people at the top of their industry, from the realms of music, radio, politics, television and philosophy to find out how they navigate shame and translate their hardships into opportunities to refine instead of define themselves.

She needed to remove herself from that family. She blossomed and flourished after this. They tried to shame, cancel and ruin her, but she built a foundation with the bricks they threw at her. I’m so proud and so happy for her! 🤗❤️

Blk people embraced her mainly because they hate the kardashians and chose to see it as a race war lol y’all were and still are extremely biased just cause ol girl is Black. When your Black friend sits on your mans lap and lays her feet on top of his and then it ends with a kiss, make sure to keep this “she Black so she’s absolved of any and every wrongdoing” energy. Except..you won’t. Cause women you hate won’t be involved..it’ll be you 🤦🏾‍♀️💀

Y’all need to stop victimizing her as if she didn’t partake in an infidelity and betrayal to someone she’s known for many years. When it happens to you, keep this same energy and know that it’s happening so that she could remove you from her life 🤗♥️

SupernaturalLove100 Ummmm speak for yourself. Nobody ever had an issue with her. They tried ruin her over a man that actually cheated on the mother of his kid. They blamed HER and he was the issue. She should of stayed home, but how they shamed her was disgusting all for her to go back to him. I don’t have friends who would do that and if they did I would direct my anger appropriately. The only victim in a situations like these are the kids involved, because it’s all document on the internet for them to see later. Tristian is trash had cheated on her before, but how they did Jordyn is was not necessary. It’s so sad how women are so quick to jump back into the hands of the men that destroy them, but will do anything in their power to tear down another women. 🤦🏾‍♀️

This has nothing to do with skin color. Jordyn was wrong. However, the mistake women keep making is attacking the “cheating woman” and excusing the wrong of the man who has cheated, because they want him back. And what have we seen happened repeatedly? The man goes right back to his old cheating ways. I am not even worried about Jordan, after all that chapter is over. I am watching to see how the Khloe-Tristan relationship will workout. I am just concerned that she may have her heart broken again. 🤷‍♀️

@Orellia Chris *yawn* the French kiss everyone. Eskimos can't risk kissing. Fucking lame. Humans aren't monogamous. We aren't even physically built for it. Ever look up the actual HARM it goes to men? Now, im not gonna say everyone should be forced into some harem but, this society bullshit of default monogamy without even sitting down and having a fair talk (let's face it its not FAIR, one PsyD called it sociocultural imposed sexual incarceration) us dumb AF. We have assist manger, manager, regional. We have 2 parents (um ideally), tons of teachers, lots of friends, even 2 damn lanes at the drive through. Yet we somehow think we are everything a person 'needs' or desires sexually, intimately or intellectually ever again? Thats some narcissistic self lionizing stupidity. People be like "if they loved me they wouldn't cheat on me", pfft if you loved them you'd actually be aware of needs and desires, not stumped growth etc (you know poly men live between 6%-20% longer than monogamous counter parts? Aware of the Coolidge effect? Or monogamy effect on testosterone? Wanna see some enlightening shit, compare male and female hormone equations. m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bKiKZJxet7iZfYk.html And let's just be plainly fucking honest, women were repressed and not allowed sexual interest, feeling, desire, or even orgasms for centuries. This is your time, you're allow to not only have sex but ENJOY it all while custody/support cases support you. As we ALL know you will do much better, I think you All need to stop crying over these cheating guys give a thumbs up to poly and when he pulls the 5 1/2 after months of trying And trying to brag everybody like hes got a albino unicorn; bang all his friends 🤷🏻‍♂️ Nooo, you ladies be all weird and get mad at the girl. Mad a dude who has never settled and never directly said he would "cheated", feeak out over porn being disloyal (be amazed at some of the REAL STUDIES, like possible reduction of sexual assault by 50%, compared to grabbed attacks) Hell, even tinder habits be all ducked. Like 95% of ladies fighting over top 1% men. Then be like "all i find are cheating narcissistic douchebags" Honestly do the ladies think any of us have the mental or emotional maturity to have and endless stream of tinder matches and be anything BUT THAT? (And incel, yeah you! Quit that shit your doing. Yeah yeah they all bitchy when get to you blah blah. Maybe try opening with something other than ass hat for couple dates) *drop mic*

katta CL first Khloe and Tristan wasn’t together cause he kept cheating(That was confirmed) they wasn’t together. If y’all look back only reason family got mad at her is because he kissed her and she didn’t tell them and the fact that Tristan has messed around other female they didn’t think he would try mess with Jordyn. Khloe had people thinking they both slept together and that he cheated on her with Jordyn. When the truth came out khloe tried to change her story and act like she wasn’t trying to say it they were together. She reposted on her page that Tristan and her were not together and broke up when he cheated on her while she was pregnant. Than say they never slept together but he did kiss her and she should have said something but she didn’t. Im glad this shit happen Jordyn wasn’t doing shit for herself until she able get away from that family. Khloe had everyone fooled to make people believe Jordyn took her man when she didn’t and they all confirmed that. When Khloe started getting backlash for stuff she was saying. she apologized said she didn’t want people bullying Jordyn.

@@amore_93 No it does, the whole ordeal is something that also roots from the Black community's anger and offense with the Kardashians. Many of the black women associated with the Kardashians have either been hurt or have in some way lost themselves. Jordyn is a Black woman who had to deal with an army of non black (and maybe some black) people hurling at her as a consequence for her actions. In a world where black women are often ridiculed and pulled down, it was not surprising that the community tried to embrace her and build her back up. I tried to say this in the most respectful way so I hope you get it.

@@amore_93 I know and I was disappointed as well, and would've been for any other person regardless of race. and some people don't see the race part of the issue (God bless your pure mindset) but the problem was the hypocrisy. The Kardashian family had done worse if not the same and never apologized and showed any type of remorse for what they've done. Khloe herself slept with Tristan when he was with his ex (Jordan Craig). Again in a world where black women are often ridiculed and pulled down for the same things white or non black women do, it's hard not to pull race into it.

I’m not the least interested in the Kardashians lives but what they did to Jordyn was wrong and they are no angels, considering the fact that khloe was accused of cheating herself (I’m not judging her I’m just comparing the situations).

Internet shaming/cyberbulling is pure evil and of the Devil. I'm glad she is doing well. When that situation came out with Tristan and karjenner. I never judged her because I'm not that kind of person. I heard her side of the story and I was like really blogs and Internet trolls was attacking her for no reason. People forget that nobody's perfect we all make mistakes. I can admit that I've done way worse and I asked God for forgiveness. I was baffled and disgusted when people attacked her family to where they couldn't go anywhere or do anything completely disgusted. I was beyond furious when tons of people said that her FATHER DESERVED TO DIE my heart broke for her. I thought how can people be so cruel and evil that really disturbed me. I'm proud that she stayed strong. I 100% agree that people how bully others have insecurities issues within themselves. And the adults who was attacking her and her family I most disappointed in. As adults we set the example for the youth. And most of the adults failed them by showing them that bullying is okay when it is not. Even though I don't know her personally I had her back and was praying for her. I'm glad God answered my prayers. God is great. People are quick to judge others they forget that God is the grand judge and he sees all. I'm so proud that Jordyn came out on top and is continuing to stay strong.

What Jordyn did was A BIG Mistake we all agree on that and I know that if she could she would have gone back in time and tell her older self 'PLEASE DON'T DO THIS' but what I am saying is she found the immense strength to stand for herself and go out and appear in public and keep on living your life whereas in this kind of situations what your instinct tells you, what you really want to do is cancel yourself too. She is more stronger mentally now.. she has accepted her role in that situation and found the meaning behind all of it. She has always seemed to be a follower and now she's her own. She's out now because being in that environment she was Drowning. It made her become vulnerable. That situation was unfortunate but it gave her a reality check! That she needed. They tried to take her down because they are the one's afraid of what she may say. It goes to show if they could do that to someone so close that they loved over years of friendship and became part of their family how many others are at their disposal. Jordyn found her way and hasn't gave up because she has to show the others and more to come, to learn how move forward from all obstacles that they thrown at her. She was so close to that family and people need to see that side as well. She grew and will continue to grow!!!

The magnitude of Jordyn’s energetic shift is incredible to witness. It is very noticeable how much she’s changed for the better even from the outside looking in. Bad things happen and you can’t control that but you can control how you move forward. I didn’t know her dad had passed away so recently! Rest his soul. I think it’s absolutely crazy that people she looked at as family would put her through worldwide bullying especially knowing the emotional turmoil she’s been through in recent years. It could’ve been handled so differently. Privately. I would never do my ex-friends/family the way they tried to do her, even if we fell out under the same circumstances. She was able to take accountability in ways they NEVER asked Tristan to. Or themselves to when they’ve done messy things. She’s very mature. Glad to see her not embracing victimhood and overcoming that crazy circumstance.

Y’all embraced her mainly because you hate the kardashians and chose to see it as a race war. y’all were and still are extremely biased just cause ol girl is Black.

LOVE THIS! LOVE Jordyn, we are all human, we make mistakes! But if anyone can own up to it, apologise and learn from it they've won intrinsicly. Jordyn is a very good role model for millenials and hope she does alot more to share her lessons and mindset. I'm glad Jordyn brought me to this page, Natalie is such an articulate and intelligent interviewer, I will watch all episodes. I've just had to leave university after 3 years due to poor health, im devastated but this has just really helped. Trust God's path. 🥰

Everything has a season and a reason. I’m so happy to see her come out of this on a new level with a new mindset. Meanwhile back at the ranch, not much as changed on the other side. Kylie still uses whatever friend is available as a crutch and Tristan is still there being Tristan. No one attached that family thrives until they leave.

I needed this because I’ve dealt with public shaming over many things in my life. Either due to misinterpretation of my part in the scenario or an actual full on mistake I intentionally made. My family has shamed me and I’ve experienced so much. Definitely deterred me from my relationship with God because it’s so hard when you see the trials and tribulations you’re facing and nobody is in your corner. As I got older I learned God showed me who was truly there for me and how I need to be there for me and trust him solely.

The depth in this young woman’s voice cannot be shaken. The realization in wanting to love and receive unconditional love from God in replace of a blind search for identity is beautiful to say the least. And accepting that it’s not all roses. After all beautiful things spring from dirt. I salute and pray for you Jordyn.

I was always on her side. I never judge nor did I think differently about this beautiful young woman! Sometimes things like this has to happen for you to blossom into who you’re supposed to be. I’m so happy and proud of Jordyn. I wish her nothing but the ultimate best. This was so good to watch and very much so needed because I too have been exposed so I know how it feels. I believe she upset , Jordyn was a real friend. Kylie friends now only hang around cause of who she is. I don’t believe they cared like Jordyn. She put her life on hold for Kylie. I use to be a fan of Khloe. I don’t feel bad. Tristian was in a whole relationship with a woman who was pregnant 🤰🏽. I don’t like women who sleep and mess with taken men. Have some self respect ✊🏿! 🦄
