Man, Mike is a combat fighter encyclopedia. Boxing, kickboxing, BJJ, MMA, all of it. He pays an incredible amount of attention and can recall the most obscure fighters and fights. He's truly a combat connoisseur. 👏👏🏿👏🏾

this dude's family fled to the USA from a communist country, he grew up fighting in the street and inspired my entire generation to scour the internet for his backyard fights. his and Kimbo's of course but i remember me and all my friends specially searching endlessly for " PONYTAIL backyard fights", only for him to reemerge years later in pro MMA and to go on and become one of he highest paid fighters of all time to be the first BMF title holder and multiple time title challenger. a man who came from nothing to a literal self-made multi millionaire and of the most recognized names and faces across all professional combat sports. respect Jorge GAMEBRED Masvidal!

Masvidal had a pretty magical run when he knocked out Till, then knocked out Askren, then whipped Nate. It was all going well until Usman knocked him out, after that he never got the magic back.

Absolutely, if I remember correctly he was one of the first well rounded MMA guys in the UFC. He really helped elevate people’s expectations of what a good fighter in the UFC looked like.
