Second Wind, Shield breaker, ground pound, theres so many awesome abilities in this game that make fighting more fun than previous AC games.

The kick. I spent so much time luring elites to the edge of cliffs and fortifications so Kassandra could yeet them of the edge. Also help greatly with putting distance between me and enemies

The spartan kick at level 3. To me it never gets old.

My favourite in early game was bull abilities. It did considerable damage plus it knocks out enemy to ground which gives u time to fast attack more.

You can also engrave any weapon with fire or poison damage that will stay forever once you’ve unlocked the engravings from collecting other weapons

Sometimes, sneaking is necessary, especially when trying to take down a fort, or killing a cultist. That's why I'm glad you included Critical Assassin.

Still playing this in 2022 since launch. I know this game is polarizing, but I’ve just been obsessed…will probably still be playing this five years from now too

I'm a main warrior assassins build but even I use arrows from time to time and I gotta say you got one thing wrong. The multi shot ability is insane, if you board a ship I spend 2 adrenaline to almost kill and damage everyone there, in conquer it is the fastest way to quick kill a lot of enemies too. Not only if is an aimbot but it also does 150% hunter damage, combine it with your crit damage (if you have a big critical chance) and let's say fire arrow you make every boarding and conquer and easy battle. So its definitely one of the best uses for a hunter build. But of course that's an opinion

The best ability in this game is the hero's strike ! I have a warrior/assassin mixed build and I kill the enemies easily thanks to the hero's strike and the ability which deals Assassin's damages to enemies around ! 👍🏻🤩 (I play in hard difficulty)

It's not my favorite, but I really like the ring of chaos for crowd control. And conquest battles. Works really well.

Man im level 30 and I have like 34 hours. I'm doing side quests missions killing mercenaries, looting treasures. Holy shit man this game is brimmed with content.

One of tge reason i love this game is the amount of damage you do doing a million damage is just so satisfying

I gotta say, I prefer Hero Strike over Sparta Kick. I almost never use it during stealth, though it can be used to take out heavier enemies when an assassination or critical assassination won’t cut it. Its great when locked on to an enemy from medium range, as you’ll dart over closer and do massive damage when upgraded to 2/3 and especially at 3/3. Its an ideal attack especially against boss enemies or tougher animals. I played the whole game using only Hero Strike/HP+/flame or poison/shield break. I never found the arrow abilities to be that great besides predator strike. Fire is super OP in this game. Even just chucking a torch at enemies can kill them. If you sneak up on a tent at night, you can set the tent on fire, and kill a couple of enemies, leaving a couple more severely depleted on fire.

I'm on chapter 7 of the main story but there's still so much to find. I didn't know there were enhanced versions of the abilities with the DLCs. Btw, all the sets your character is wearing look so cool! If you haven't yet, could you make a video about how to get those sets?

So much to do in this game. I recently got back into it after not playing for months. I'm having fun with it all over again.

One thing they should add for abilities is a Zeus smite that summons a lighting bolt doing warrior damage and the bolt gets bigger each upgrade and does area damage and up to 250% warrior damage if direct hit

My favorite is the hero strike ability, you can do this repeatedly if you have ezio armor(parrying removes cooldown of hero strike ability)

After watching, i just realized that I've been missing out on this atlatis dlc.

Depending on the situation and how you go into battle you can always switch abilities for play

I just started the game because I am getting Valhalla for Christmas. I am 40hrs in and the game is stunning. Should I leave the dlc till the end of the main story or should I do them before for the weapons?

I completely disagree with you on multi shot. It's one of the most op'd arrow skills in the game. Especially if you're fire spec. Use it along with the fire bow and explosive arrows from a hidden vantage point and sit back and watch enemies melt like butter. Even better, enemies get confused once they're on fire so they can't hardly pinpoint your location. It's also great with regular fire arrows to aoe burn multiple targets. Multi shot is a must for me. PS: Predator shot along with high headshot damage and armor piercing arrows are great for sniping.

The best $28 I have ever spent, this game is massive, I'm not even close to finish the main quest, left alone all the DLCs (it's on sale at the moment for $27.95)

Fury of the Bloodline. Simply the BEST of all abilities through any playstyles. Adrenaline bulding skill totally change fights in Odyssey.

second wind (the healing one),the shield grabbing one,the one where you charge the energy and then upon explosion you send all around you flying and 4th is that overpowered ability upgraded,which im starting the battle with when i do have just one adrenaline bar on me to get more for some of those more consuming abilities-these i use in melee. :)

my load out that i would recommend 1.rush assassination 2.sparta kick 3.shield breaker 4.hero strike

Jorraptor to be honest the charged heavy attack is op. It won me the pankration with 4 levels difference. It is my favorite

My favorite Abilities probably are the enchantented ones, it helps me fight 2 or more enemies in a fight. Artemis's Trickery helps me when i'm in a braizer zone. to keep the braizer lighter and the braizer distanced. but alsoooo because it's reliabilitiy when fighting enemies. example. your on a part of the fort where your high, the enemies and bounty hunter don't know where you are. you have a full bar, and now time to use fire arrows and Artemis's Trickery, the enemies are burning in hell. as there's nothing they can do to counter it. this leaves you to jump into the fray now. Kronos's Time Shift also helps it and makes a good combo with Artemis's Trickery. use the death arrow and enemy is juggled up. but Wrath of Ares also does a good multi enemy killer. if combined with Artemis's Trickery, you can make traps out of it.

I never use the Flame or Posion abilities since they are Engravements which can be unlocked by looking for Certain Weapons used by Either Defeating and looting Certain Mercenaries or are in Certain Chests

During this lockdown, I plan on completing both Odyssey and Origins to 100%, season passes as well.

Best abilities for one person maybe different for another. Depends how you play. Its all about figuring out what works for you and what doesn't.

A bit late to the party...I bought the Gold edition today in the GMG birthday sale...can't wait for it to finish downloading and start playing! At least there's plenty of great vids to watch while I'm waiting :-)

The strongest skill in the game is Shadow of Nyx with Pilgrim set. The quick assassination skill is also extremely strong. 3rd place I would give to devastating shot, but regular bow shots are already insanely efficient.

Hero's strike + Ezio Set Bonus + Crit Build = easy winning. The full ezio set allows the player to instantly reset hero's strike after a parry btw

You really are a true pro player. I have the exact same set of skills and have been playing and replaying this game for a year. Still, my favorite skill is the battlecry of ares enhanced, especially since it fits my assassin + warrior playstyle perfectly. I mean, I have killed polemarchs and mercenaries in a single attack with this ability even after being detected.

I always thought the best skill was being able to get the freakin' Hades lieutenant.

I know it’s a perk but the perk from the Dikastes Armour set from the 3rd episode if the Atlantis DLC it’s basically an ability it’s Ares Madness and Ares last breath combined into one

Seeing as you can get all abilities, best becomes somewhat trivial. And a max crit chance/damage build practically outshines every ability combined.

Hero Strike Ability is so op I can kill enemies with skull level

Poison deals more damage but doesn't spread, fire does slightly less damage over time and can also be put out, but does spread

I came here because despite 150 hours in Valhalla, overall the game disappoints. Does not feel like a real AC game. Last night I started to play Odyssey (I took a few years off from the AC Series) and this game is AMAZING. Transport this game into year 900 in England and that is what Valhalla should have been.

I always hated Assassins Creed and after buying Odyssey deluxe for 20 bucks i love the game. I am still early in the game and playing as Alexios but so far this game rocks. I cant wait to get all the amazing abilities for my warrior.

With the new Ezio armor, I just don't even see reason to use much of the Warrior tree, and not the Hunter Tree pretty much at all. Pretty much exclusively use Hero Strike Rush Assassinate and regular assassinate (no need for critical assassinate if you're using Hero Strike/Rush) for pretty much all of your kills. Even early game it is not hard to keep your adrenaline up with assassinations. You can play with it from lv 1 to lv 99 and never change armor, alongside the Milanese sword. The whole game you are just 1 parry away from another Hero Strike once it is unlocked. Running low on Adrenaline? Fury of the Bloodline or just defend/smack the enemy a lot and it will be back in no time. That armor made the game ranged and melee easy mode.

Those damage numbers are really scary

My favorite Ability actually is a Ability Combo, which is Kronos Timeshift+Artemis's Trickery with Exploding Arrows which are Abilities you get in the Fate of Atlantis DLC and I call that Ability Combo my Signature Move Lol!

My favorite is fury of the bloodline

Overpower attacks and Fury of the Bloodline combined is my two favorites, because it creates one helluva lifehack.

I hope they bring the ezio set back I missed the free weekend and the Roman set is my absolute favorite

The best abilities feel like cheating. I played Origins before Odyssey and learned which abilities NOT to activate in Odyssey for more gameplay fun.

It's been a while but my 2 favorite are hero strike and charging bull I believe it's called. To all new players, Epic gear & weapons are more widely used instead of Legendary. LEARN TO PARRY/BLOCK QUICKLY!!!!

I already reached level 99 and beyond to mastery levels over 30 (these are infinite)... There are over 1700 ability points and you can play new game+ as much as you want so yes its possible to add all mastery points if you want to finish the game dozens of time... drachmae is capped to 9milion (tested myself on console) as for other resources im not sure...my fav ability? None i use many

Why is my fire/heavy blunt weapon allowing chained power attacks, but my sword is not? I never saw Artemis bomb.

My GF got this game when it came out and I dont like the series as a whole but like the feel of this and the improved mechanics. Bought a year ago when on sale for 85% off for the deluxe addition but just left it alone till a few days ago and I am now so hooked on it. It's just amazing

When I started this game, I put in over 200 hrs....I started off really well,....by the time I was half into game story I was at 50 level....I did alot of side missions.....all was good till I started drifting from the game, and started moving further ahead..long story short....I completed majority of trophies,...but I never finished the game story...I ended up in atalantis and defeated boss.....I missed out on alot of important missions...which means I never really beat the game,..I never got to the ending......so now I'm starting over to complete my trophies.....this is most I've put I to a game,.... but I gotta complete it....

Hero Strike was my favorite. But it's way to powerful in an Assassin build. I think they didn't do the best job in balancing some of those skills.

5:00 I have done The Fate of Atlantis DLC, but quite dont understand how you create that Blue Circle and deal that damage with that ability.

Does the stuff from fate of atlantis carry over to the main game?

I have a problem where my health just stays on one bar and it won't go up no matter what I use

I really hope the devs dont cut some of the awesome ideas in this game because of the AC purists wanting it to be like the old games. I hate Assassin's Creed but loved loved loved loved this game.
