Hardly watch South films, but Maghadheera was one of my early South films. Loved Maghadheera lol I kinda had a crush for RC after watching Mgd and end up watched a few more of his movies. Maghadheera was dubbed in Hmong too. I have both Maghadheera Telugu and Hmong version. Fun fact: There was gonna be a Hindi remake of Maghadheera w/ Shahid Kapoor, but somehow the movie never got made.

you can watch it! we ppl in our 20's were in elementary or middle school when it was released and it was a sensation at that time even though i love rrr i get bored when i watch it repeatedly but magadheera? i remember how we used to go crazy whenever it came on tv to this day i don't feel bored to watch it again it has that rewatchability factor in it

For most Americans it's just Eega, baahubali & obviously RRR. For us Indians we already know Rajamouli with movies like Chatrapathi, Vikramarkudu & Yamadonga & but I especially got to know him with *Magadheera* I would say Magadheera was the biggest hit of Rajamouli until he did bahubali, Eega was a hit but it failed in Hindi. The chemistry between Ram Charan & kajal Aggarwal was a huge highlight with the 2nd half of the movie as well. You guys should obviously check out Magadheera!!! I don't understand why most aren't recommending this one. You can watch Simhadri (Jr ntr), Yamadonga (Jr ntr), Vikramarkudu (Ravi Teja) & Chatrapathi (Prabhas) but I don't think it will fit you're sensibilities Rick & Korbin. I won't recommend student no. 1 (Jr NTR). As far as Ram Charan & Jr NTR standalone without Rajamouli, u can check out Dhruva, Orange(u), Yevadu for Ram Charan. Jr NTR - Temper, Janatha garage, Baadshah, Jai lava kusa, Naanaku prematho, Brindavanam, Oosaravelli, Rakhi (lol), especially Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava etc.

I highly recommend you watch a couple of Mahesh Babu movies as he is the next Rajamouli hero. Pokiri and Athadu are fun. Yes Magahdeera is a good next film for Rajamouli and Ram Charan. Tarak, I would do Janantha Garage, Temper or Aravind Sametha. My fav film of his is Yamadonga though which is an even earlier Rajamouli film. Many say its Rajamouli's weakest film but I just love it.

I recommend watching Magadheera, it's pretty good even with the first half being totally corny. I watched this right after RRR and I'm an American that has hardly watched any South Indian movies...went down the rabbit hole watching Telugu movies after watching RRR! I have watched the Hindi movies but mostly the recent ones. I think Ram Charan is talented but was totally under utilized after Magadheera with masala films. Most of his movies besides Magadheera and Rangasthalam don't seem great by Western standards 😂
