ciertamente magistral, maravilloso, una de las mejores versiones que escuché jamás de esta inmortal canción. Con una voz, un timbre, un decir y una expresión de canto sencillamente maravillosos. Grande Carreras en esos momentos. Mucho mejor que otros que acaparaban toda la fama. Era un ídolo en la Scala o en Viena, donde no faltaba ni una sola temporada. Un tenor extraordinario.

La interpretación de Carreras de Core’ngrato es un clásico, ineludible. Su versión de Caracallas es el climax. Si bien es cuestión de gustos, yo creo que es la MEJOR VERSIÓN de esta canción: fuerza, sentimiento, corrección sin exageraciones, estilo. Y que presencia sobre el escenario para este MAESTRO. Elegancia total a la hora de interpretar!!!

Dovrebbe essere Napoletana, ma non lo è esattamente. La canzone si chiama "core 'ngrato" perché quando canta dice "core ingrato"?

Vengo di riascoltare, ho drissato gli orecchi, e non ho sentito quando fa l'errore. Ma per me, canta bene. E verò che ho difficoltà con tutte le vostre lingue, sono belga.

@@edith5628 non è un errore, ma un difetto di pronuncia, quando dice core 'ngrato, la lettera "i" non si deve sentire, perché è lingua Napoletana, non italiana. Grave perché è il titolo della canzone.

What hurts and moves me to the core is that this WAS this Wonderful Tenor some 26 years ago. Perhaps you remember him as one of the three Tenors standing between Pavarotti and Domingo.Yes, we can go to the Moon and other planets, but in spite of all our advanced technology we have not been able to extend our life-span by even one iota (do not confuse life expectancy with life span - how many people do you know who have exceeded he Biblical Age of Thousands of Years ago ???

Wonderful! Thank you very much for sharing. This was on New Year's Eve (Silvester concert) on December 31, 1991. I was there and still have a printed programme of this event. It was a wonderful evening. (And my boy-friend of that time was member of the orchestra.)
