This song may be old, but is as fresh as ever. No other versions are as good as the Original. I listened to it many times this 2020 Christmas... alone...in Empangeni, South Africa - with temperature above 36°C during the day, "dropping" to 29°C at 8pm. But this song is warming my Polish heart far from my home country -10,000 km and 35 years from home. God bless you all and keep well long enough to listen to Feliz Navidad many more times.

Jose gave a concert in Toronto October 2013 and closed the show with this encore number, a pre Christmas present for the audience... I was so lucky to be part of it! Most memorable night for me... Absolute joy to watch this video with all these talented musicians... and Paul!

The best live version of this true Christmas standard by far. Feliciano's brilliant even as the solo acoustic great he is, but with Daryl and his band? Amazing. I believe Feliciano lived near Daryl when he had his mansion up in the Hudson Valley, and he was the perfect- and only!- choice as guest on the first "Daryl's House" Christmas show. Everybody's happy on this, especially often-deadpan Daryl and his great, intense band guys (who's the guitar player in the middle? He's great). Thanks to the still-brilliant Jose (his mega-hit take on "Light My Fire" and Latin-soul anthem at the World Series in Motown are 51 years old!) and the wonderful Daryl (the true Renaissance Man of rock with 55 years of great songs behind him!) for this magnificent acoustic-trio performance. I waited till late to play it- it should be a daily part of every holiday season. Muchas gracias Jose! Love ya Daryl! From a long-time fan here in Boston. BTW- I watched Jose's World Series anthem at Tiger Stadium [at 11] and loved it. Most people hated it then, but his performance set the standard for the many off-center improv versions to come. I've also heard Daryl's earliest records here, with his Philly high school band Temptones. He was maybe 15 but sounded exactly like Smokey Robinson. He still does!
