Altuve on the other hand literally got caught cheating in the playoffs and in his career is hitting .271 with an OBP of .341 and plays average defense at best. Yes he hits a lot of homeruns. He has 58 RBI and 85 runs scored. Which is a higher pace than Jeter in each of those categories, but that wasn't Jeter's job. His job was to spark the offense and get on base to score runs. And he did that better than Altuve has. Altuve is awesome. But act like you've actually watched Jeter before or don't make a comment on Altuve being better than him if you only caught the tail end of his career.
