Feliciano, is one of the most underated musicians, he deserves much more in accolades and recognition then when Christmas rolls around. He had so many songs and classic pieces that he remade in his special way. Anybody that has ever tuned a guitar knows how hard it is what he's doing on the fly...untunning a string for effect and bringing it back up to snuff. It's just amazing! His ear is so highly tuned it more than makes up for his absense of sight. A true ambassador of music.

Dos genios. Feliciano reinventa la forma de tocar la guitarra a cada instante. Increíble. Además toca muchos otros instrumentos diversos.

WOw. You know a lot of FEliciano. I have been following his work since 2006 heard hundreds of his songs and I was finally able to go to one of his concerts in San Diego last Year, and yet I did not knew about these Purple, and DIsco flam songs. I like also when he plays Mama Don't Allow and Earls Breakdown with Johnny Cash. Take a look

Saw this on a Special about Crosby and had to see if anyone had posted it on the 'tube. You can really see the fact that Crosby was taken with Feliciano's talent. Loved Crosby calling Jose's talent "brilliant" at the end. (Though I cheer Crosby 'cause he could really improvise. Guess all those years with Hope paid off... lol.) Thanks for posting. Cheers!

well heres the problem with that list. Robert Johnson mostly played slide guitar, which in itself may as well be another instrument. BB played electric 95% of the time, and Andy Mckee plays well.. whatever the hell you call that slapping stuff. personally, i dont like it, but i dont know what people calling. "Tapping" perhaps.

Sounds a little too harsh for Bing, looks as if he's having trouble transitioning.
