Like you, I also felt like crying in the "F ol u opps" because knowing Jimin and all the negativity and hate directed to him thru the years that felt so satisfying coming from him. Finally, Jimin is setting himself free from expectations, from trying to play nice, from all the control of other people. So happy for him as well.

This is like On, but Jimin's version! I think this song is supposed to be somewhat jarring. I mean, that's Bangtan's signature, you never know what you're getting with them. It's not only the sweet, honey voiced Jimin, he's expressing how much it means to him to be himself and show different sides of himself! I honestly feel like it's kind of a continuation of Lie also. The auto tune, rapping and explicitness might not be everyone's cup of tea, but he already said he doesn't care if people mock him. He's been very inspired by hip hop over the years and it really shows! 💜💜

What do we think then?...Is the white outfit him being free? Born anew? In the photos before the trailers, wasn't the white outfit him being vulnerable, raw? Perhaps that is linked to the being free...the rebirth...the unmasking? 🤔

@@lizsteele8858 ANGEL(white) used in the photo before the trailer we have seen that he has scars this means that even if he complies with the rules it does not mean that he is not feel bad inside. DEMON(black) is the part that each of us has and comes out when we've had enough of everything, i.e respect rules, always be courteous and polite, always do what others say. But white (rebirth) at the end of the Mv normally had to be naked but this he couldn't do, so he stood up dressed in white and showed the crescent moon tattoo giving the impression that a new Jimin will be reborn. This is basically what I understood about all of this.

When I watched the mv for the first time. My jaw completely dropped and I got emotional I had tears in my eyes. I am so so happy for him. After the mv ended I just looked at my phone mind you my jaw was still hanging open and I said it a very quiet voice, "damn." He is doing exactly what he wants to do, making the music he wants to do and I will say this again " He ate that up and left no bread crumbs."

Set me free showed us a side of Jimin that we never knew we needed. We all have always wanted to see this kind of dark concept with Jimin but we were always shown a bright n cute side. *A post somewhere said Face could be like phase as in phases of the moon and that maybe we will get the many faces of Jimin in this album.* The writing on him was a German poem by Rainer Maria Rilke in 1899 and the poem is called “I live my life in widening circles” Some Army say this dance was like ON meets Black Swan 🤩🔥 Ahhh it’s already trending #1 on KZfaq and multiple other places. By the way, I have a theory that all the backup dancers are hatred. For example, they surrounded Jimin and we’re trying to trap him. Also I think there was some symbolism to Fake Love and Black Swan. Since they weren’t struggling to trap BTS. But in here they we’re struggling to hold jimin down. Trying to lead him to evil. But of course that fails, since we see him free at the end.

Chapter 2 is definitely well underway! Jimin said set me free and oh boy did he show up with a bang that he is and I’m all for it. This is only a pre release and I’m pretty much dead I can’t even imagine what next weeks gonna be like. I believe the writing is several different languages so could be that it’s the same work or phrase in different languages but I haven’t been able to tell what yet (I’ve only watched it like 30 times or so already but strangely can’t read it for looking at him lol 🙈) I love this new side of Jimin and can’t wait to see what else he’s got in store for us well if I survive it anyway 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
