What a BEAUTIFUL testimony!!

Ever since I began my journey with Jesus, I should say when I Repented and was Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and it took along time to get the Holyghost and I mean along time. It discouraged me but deep inside I knew my boys had to repent and get baptized in the name of JESUS it was deep in my heart because I didn't know if something were to happen to me would the place ever do it, besides they were my children and it was my sworn duty

@@KellyR-ht3me Awesome testimony. I prayed for the Holy Ghost for 2 1/2 years. I was talking on the phone with my friend in another town, and she told me that if I go to their revival I will get the Holy Ghost. I was praying that morning in my kitchen and told God I am tired of going up to the altar. When I went up after the preaching, the evangelist told me, God told me you are tired of coming up here, why dont you give it one more try. I got the Holy Ghost that night, that was 40 years ago. I was on cloud 9. Thank you Jesus!!!

People speak In tongues and it is so beautiful to hear and witness but I let put a roar. When will I speak in tongues? But isn't the Holyghost roar the same thing?

@@KellyR-ht3me You will speak in tongues when you give the control of your tongue over to the Holy Ghost. He is moving on you but wants to take full control. Relax, use your voice to praise God and don't worry if your words become unrecognizable.

@@KellyR-ht3meI hope it’s ok that I share my Testimony: I was born and raised in New Holstein, WI in a very good home. But deep inside of me there was an aching and hunger for more of God. When I was 17 I was shown in the Bible that “Ye must be born again”. I was told to say a “sinners prayer” I sincerely repented and cried rivers of heartfelt genuine tears. I was told I was “born again” But after a while I experienced feelings of the frustration and guilt of not being able to live for God. I could not seem to grow in God like the Bible talked about and continued to revert back to a sinful lifestyle. I felt utterly defeated Bc I could not stay faithful to God, His Word or His commandments. 2 years later I walked into an Apostolic Church and just like Apollos in Acts 18 I needed to be shown a more perfect and excellent way: The Gospel is the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ: (I Corinthians 15: 1-4). I learned to rightly divide the word of truth: The 4 Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John witness Jesus’ earthly ministry: He healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons and performed many miracles. In John 3, Nicodemus came to Jesus. They talked ABOUT being born again (JOHN 3:3-5 Except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven) but no one was ACTUALLY born again in the 4 gospels. Before Calvary they were still under the law so it was not yet possible to be born again bc Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:37-39). This is why the thief on the cross was able to be in paradise...he was still under the dispensation of the law. It isn’t until the day of Pentecost, in Acts you witness people actually BEING born of the water by being baptized by immersion ONLY in the name of Jesus and BEING filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Those years between the ages of 17-20 I was living on a repentance experience...leaving Jesus hanging there on the cross, so to speak. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:14-41, Acts 8:37-38, Acts 10:47-48) tells me I was not obeying the command to be buried with him in the waters of baptism and I had not received the Holy Ghost so thus was not resurrected to walk in newness of life. Therefore, could not live a victorious Christian life. It wasn’t until I was 19 that I was truly transformed and had the most amazing born again experience ever! I was born of the water as I went down in JESUS NAME (biblically not one person was baptized in Father, Son and Holy Ghost.) And I was born of the Spirit when I came up out of the water speaking g in tongues! It was the most powerful, glorious and wonderful, transformation experience I ever had. That was 39 years ago and I am so thankful to say from that point on I was then able to live an overcoming joy filled life bc from that point on I was truly born again. I will never go back to what I used to be!

This in interesting. I only am aware of one UPCI church in San Fernando. I grew up in it. Bro Paul Gregory was my pastor.

Dont give up. When I got the Holy Ghost after praying for 2 1/2 years I didnt speak a whole lot in tongues, but let me tell you, you will know when you have it. When you go up to the altar get lost in the spirit of God, keep your mind on Him and think about nothing else, not even the people around you. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint, teach me Lord to wait.

I had got refilled with the Holyghost!!!! Hallelujah Jesus. Ingo to Calvary Tabernacle UPC of San Fernando the ladies there saw I was having a hard time with everyone praying so we went into a quiet room off the alter area and it was so beautiful. My countenance changed and my jaw started moving without me moving it, I have a roar do you know what I mean that HolyGhost roar, it was so beautiful. Jesus declared His truth that the devil is a liar.. and everything I would feel when I would praise and worship at home by myself is actually the Holyghost coming on me. Thank you my King
