I am so proud of this video and I would appreciate no ship war/hate in the comments because I will just delete them.
When I first started watching this show, I didn't think I was gonna like it very much & then I did. Everyone was shipping Lucas&Maya so I thought I would too, then I met Josh Matthews and my heart chose for me. I think these two are so adorable, Maya loves Josh so much and I am so glad that he likes her too. They definitely had moments in past episodes so it's no surprise things have taken this turn. Plus Maya is amazing.
I hoped to show the evolution of their relationship in the video, how it started with Maya really into Josh, showing how much she cares for him and then Josh starting to see how amazing she is & showing his feelings begin to develop as he starts to see Maya as more & entering their long game ♥
I hope now that they have put "someday" in there, we can now see a build up between the two. I hope season 3 isn't the last, but I really want Freeform to take it up. I want it to become more than it is and it has so much potential to do so.
I am just so glad I have another ship that's happy because all my ships seem to die on me. Literally. But if they aren't endgame and Lucaya are, I don't mind that. Even though I don't ship them as much as Joshaya, I do still like them :)

I ship this so much because they pay attention to each other. He knew that maya didn’t like Lucas, that she wasn’t being herself, he knew that because he pays attention to her just like she did with him at that collage party with those girls. He was starting to like maya and he knew how she was, he noticed that she wasn’t being herself because he knows her. He wouldn’t just say maya didn’t like Lucas like the way Riley does if he didn’t have reasons that would make sense, but he did. So Lucya ( how ever you spell it ) fans can’t get all pissed off saying that they pressured maya into letting Lucas go, that josh was just saying that. What he said to her, how he knew she didn’t like Lucas, those reasons make sense. She always liked josh, when she was herself, maybe even when she was being Riley, this relationship makes sense to me.

U can tell Lucas didn’t really like maya like a girlfriend he liked her as a friend they were more like brothers and sisters to each other josh and maya they understand each other and could talk to each other without being goofy all the time but i don’t know because maya and Lucas had a friendly but love able friendship .

You can’t pay attention to someone who’s never around. You can’t pay attention to someone who you’re never around. In summary Josh’s speech to Maya is utter bullshit because he doesn’t know her enough to say that shit. Oh sure maybe he knew her at one point but he spends months to a year away from her everybody and then expect to come back and be like I know everything about you is the definition of a manipulator. No one should ever tell you how you feel especially someone who is never around

@@DarkPulsaterLiteGear that does make sense, but you have to realise that Maya probably called him or texted him or even wrote letters, because that's something someone would do if the person they like is far away. Also, Josh watched her grow up, albeit from a distance. He would have seen the changes in her and after observing his brothers and sister, he would obviously be able to see the changes in them as well (not to mention him going through those exact changes in his life). So, he would have noticed that that's what Maya was going through. Another way he could have seen it: He was there with Riley when she was a kid, and showed up numerous times in the show. Cory probably updated him on important things that Riley did. Josh knows Riley. So when he saw that Maya changed and started to act like Riley, then he realised what was going on and explained it to her because He was the only person she would listen to, and he was the only one who noticed.

And I still don’t know everything going on with her other than what she tells me. I’m not there to see what’s actually going on. And I’m certainly never going to tell her if I think she’s acting like another person regardless if I know that person very well. Do you know why because you don’t get to tell people when they’re acting like someone else unless you’re a licensed and educated psychologist or therapist. He’s at 18-year-old with zero experience teaching other people people are with their fucking life. So what if Riley is his niece and Maya is Riley’s best friend. Unless he can crawl inside other peoples head with some super power, he has zero right to say for a fact that Maye is doing something or another

It's been awhile since I've watched it but I think Maya was 15 and Josh was 18 (I might be off sorry if I am). Legally he is an adult while Maya is still a minor. But it's just 3 years apart like you said.

@@littlemissmatched2194 Age gaps are less of a big deal after a certain point in life. When it's a 15 year old and an 18 year old together it's different than a 29 year old and a 32 year old. A 15 heart old is a freshman/sophomore, while an 18 year old is an adult, moving on with life in college or seeking a career. Different levels of maturity.

To many friends think I'm stupid for watching this show because it's "childish" just because it's on Disney. But I've watched the entire boy meets world show and every episode of girl meets world to date and I can say that even though I'm 17 this show is the most life changing show I've watched. It's a true piece of artwork and the creators are insanely talented for always giving me a life lesson I can use in my life in every single episode however simple it may be. And the core message of people change people has changed me more as a person than any three words ever could.

I know how you feel! I'm 14 and my friends do not understand it anyway... They do not understand how I can watch a so childish and uncultivadet series like that. But you say it right. Since the first episode I learned something all the time. I learned about love, life and feelings. I learned about how to master life (with and without complications), and I'm so thankfull that I could see it there. I learned about friendship with 2 definitely different girls who are taking the world and I'm glad that I not think so for my own!

The number of my age does count, & the way my soul feels does to. Some days I feel young & stupid. Some days I feel wise & peaceful. But I love feeling wild & free & alive.

Rebecca K ur "friends" are wrong and ur right this is a life changing show for me my life sucked most if the time and I had to grow up fast and this show was like a breath of fresh air I got to take a step back and be kid for just a few moments whenever I watched this show and people do change people there was message in every episode and I loved to sink in and see how the characters handled it how no matter what happened they got thru it and realized that together they really could take on the world.♥️💯😎

I got to say I learned a lot from Boy Meets World and I can honestly say even though I'm an adult the show is great and it teaches young people important things. Sadly in the year 2019 we teach young people about things that they should not be learning. It confuses them and destroys their innocence. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I haven't seen a decent Disney show since this one

OMG!! this is soo epic! i loved how you captured their whole journey (so far)... and the parallels and the voiceovers were so perfect! it gave me so many feels! i'm so happy you vidded them! i love them soo much. i was never able to truly ship lucaya bc these two just stole my heart. they have such beautiful potential and i'm so excited to see what happens. amazing job! i love this so much

I love this ship so much, but I hate the fact that Josh has hurt Maya so many times by shooting her down. And all he ever did to give her hope was say that he liked her too, and that he was 'playing the long game'. This is literally my favorite Joshaya edit. It shows everything that this shipps means, the moments, the fights, the laughs, the development until the "I like you too", until this "someday". I found this video again after like 5 or 6 years, and I am now 18 and truly grateful that Disney displayed such a healthy relationship in a society that for some reason accepts girls like Maya and me developing unhealthy relationships with problematic age difference. I really appreciate this relationship and am glad that kids like 12 year old me, absorbed this kind of content

OH GOD THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I need to catch up on the show to see them because I think I ship them too now. I love that they're not together, there is this possibility of someday. She will probably find love before and they will meet again and fall in love. I really like that. It's beautiful!
