always come back to this video, time and time again. Both Josh and Matt are huge inspirations for me to keep the blues in my playing, I'd love to catch them live once this Covid BS is over. thanks for all the great music guys!

Josh and Matt, for sure. But what about some love for the rhythm section. Drummer and bass player killing it. Totally on it.

Wow, that's the brightest lighting I've ever seen at the Baked Potato! Usually so dark there. What a treat for the people at this show to see both Josh and Matt playing together! Would have loved to have been there.

The way these guys improvise and connect their phrases is purely poetic and wholsesome

Both these guys are monster players. I hope the audience knows how lucky they are to have witnnesed this shootout. Josh your tone and phrasing on this track was exceptional.

So sweet! Both you guys are pinnacles of great playing! Man, what a delight to watch and listen to both of you, especially at the end where you two are trading licks off. It doesn't get much better than that and that's the damn truth. :)

Josh is doin to blues guitar what Robben did 30 years ago !!! A step forward for the blues again !! quite a lot of flair and finesse here. And Matt is killer too!
@sumoblues7 жыл бұрын
all that jazzy-extended-chromatic playing is fine and dandy, but it's when they summon their inner Albert King and Albert Collins is when my ears perk up! Great stuff!
@jeramynorris65225 жыл бұрын
That's right. Call me old fashioned but contentment in using the basics is still the most attractive blues guitar. Add too much and it becomes acrobatic and not aromatic with the stank. If you know what I mean.
