Today we're building the LEGO Speed Champions Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision GT. Set number 76923 releases June 1st, 2024 and will cost £20.99/$26.99/€26.99. In my opinion, this is one of the wildest Speed Champions cars ever created, due in large part to the complexity of the actual vehicle which actually only exists digitally because it was created for the Gran Turismo video game in 2019 even though one real life replica car was built but the best way to own your own Lamborghini Lambo V12 Vision GT Supercar is to buy this LEGO version.

Quick sidenote, 63 isnt because the company was created 63 years ago (from 2019). The number 63 stands for the year (1963) when Lamborghini Automobile was founed

This set instantly caught my eye, when the pictures of the new speed champions wave surfaced. I'm not a car fan at all, therefore I judge sets from this line based solely on their appearance as lego models and building technics used to achieve it, so the weirder they get, the more interesting and fun to build they are to me. For that reason Solus GT is my favorite vehicle from the theme and this new Lambo feels kinda like a sequel to it. I think I can't pass this one up!

Funny enough, the solus GT was originally a gran turismo car too, however unlike the lamborghini lots of customers wanted a real version of it therefore it was made

When this was revealed I said it could make a cool concept for a Batmobile - I still think that would be the case, but it would need a bit of overhauling and some parts swaps instead. looks really cool though - will be interested to pick it up next month.

I am a Speed Champions enthusiast (but never been a completist) and I watched the revealing of the Lamborghini Vison GT in live during the awesome 2019 Gran Turismo FIA World Championship so I was very hyped by the prospect of owning it in Lego form... until it was revealed. Unfortunatly I really don't appreciate the look of the Lego version, I see too much stuff that are annoying to me and it is a set I won't purchase, none of the set from the Wave 2 are coming to my collection (the 2 Mercedes Benz don't interest me and only the Pace Car in the Aston Martin would have but I have no intention to buy the double car set for only one car). Now I just have to wait for the revealing of the Wave 3 cars, the F40 is the one I have great hope for but wait and see as no other car from the august releasing are known to me by now. For the first time since 2017, I won't get any set from a new wave of SC, in contrast to last year that was the first time I did purchased all the sets.
