डॉ. विजय अग्रवाल एक सेवानिवृत्त IAS अधिकारी हैं जिन्होंने भारत सरकार में विभिन्न विभिन्न पदों पर सेवा की है। वे भारत के राष्ट्रपति “डॉ. शंकर दयाल शर्मा” के व्यक्तिगत सचिव भी रहे हैं। इस वीडियो में डॉ. विजय अपनी यात्रा के बारे में बात कर रहे हैं, कि कैसे वे एक IAS अधिकारी बने। डॉ. अग्रवाल एक गरीब परिवार से आते हैं और उनके पिता का निधन हो गया था जब वे स्कूल में थे। इसलिए अपने घर को चलाने के लिए उन्हें काम करना पड़ा और उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई दूरस्थ शिक्षा से पूरी की। उन्हें अंग्रेजी से डर लगता था, वे हिंदी माध्यम के छात्र थे लेकिन फिर भी उन्होंने सिविल सेवा परीक्षा या UPSC CSE को पास कर लिया। उन्होंने कहा है कि UPSC परीक्षा को पास करने के लिए आपको कठिन पढ़ाई करनी होगी, आपको समाचार पत्र पढ़ना होगा, आपको UPSC द्वारा दिए गए सिलेबस को पूरा करना होगा। लोग अक्सर विजय सर से पूछते हैं कि अगर हम इतिहास को छोड़ दें तो क्या यह हमारे UPSC परिणाम को प्रभावित करेगा? क्या CSAT UPSC CSE के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है? डॉ. विजय ने कहा है कि यह UPSC के लिए महत्वपूर्ण विषयों के बारे में नहीं है, यह तैयारी की यात्रा के बारे में है। अधिकांश IAS अधिकारी इसी तैयारी से बनते हैं। इसीलिए UPSC CSE को एक प्रतियोगिता कहा जाता है।
Dr Vijay agrawal is a retired IAS officer who have served the Government of India in various different posts. He has also been the personal secratary of the President Of India "Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma". In this video Dr Vijay is talking about his jouney, how he became an IAS Officer. Dr Agrawal comes from a poor family and his father passed away when he was in school. So in order to run his house he had to work and he completed his studies from distance learning. He use to fear, english he was a hindi medium student but still he managed to clear the civil services examination or UPSC CSE.
He mentions that in order to clear the upsc exam you have to study hard, you have to read newspaper , you have to complete the syllabus given by upsc. People often ask to Vijay sir that if we leave history will it impact our upsc result? Is CSAT important for the UPSC CSE? Dr Vijay have said that it's not about the important topics for upsc, it is about the preparation journey. Most of the IAS officers are made from this preparation. This is why upsc cse is called a competition.
