AJ is more nimble nowadays and has actually enhanced his already powerful punching. He now channels even more power through his punches by utilizing his entire hips and torso, resulting in a stronger follow-through. DD is very good, but AJ is simply great. AJ by stoppage.

AJ is no better than he was 4 years ago it’s just the level of opposition has dropped it weren’t long ago people were on his back saying he’s finished before and after the Franklin fight he didn’t look good against Helenius until the 1 shot KO Wallin is awful and Ngannou is a mma fighter, Dubois is the one in form here

@@michaelashton4454Helenius was a 5 day notice opponent. What Joshua needs to do is when fighters fail drug test cancel the fight. Those performances seem to be held against him. Wallin was the GOAT when he was punching up Fury. Most people picked Wallin to beat Joshua as well.

This guys info sounds fluid and un-biased from the general british media and the narratives it likes to paint. Even if Dubois, punches as hard as AJ, he doesnt have a better defence which is a concern. Good luck to both fighters

Inside information from previous opponents and sparring partners only confirms what is pretty obvious from watching them both in their fights and the reaction of their opposition from punches. Dubois probably throws all hard, clubbing punches throughout a fight......AJ throws a mixture of shots, some are pawing and range finders ir throw away shots, but they are to find paths for the odd single power punch or combo. When he throws them with full power and speed and accuracy they whip and are a fair bit harder and more damaging than Dubois'...... but yes it could be argued that over the time of a fight, Dubois has thrown the harder shots on average.

@@AyMikolo He was finished after a long, tough fight in which he took a lot of damage. Joshua had 24 rounds and fought scared the whole time. It's easy to lose by decision if you show no balls.

Doesn't matter how hard he hits. This isn't a punch machine in a pub! You need to avoid shots and land meaningful punches. Dubious got stopped by Usyk unlike Fury and AJ. Hitting hardest doesn't matter if you take 20x the punches you throw

Who takes a shot better? Who has the better engine id say Dubois on both counts if AJ got hit with the shots Dubois did off Hrgovic he’d go down I’m certain of it none of his last 4 opponents have come to win no one’s landed on him or put him under any pressure I don’t buy into this AJ is better than ever talk everyone knows fighters decline with age he’s no better now than he was 4 years ago just the level of opposition has dropped. Dubois is the guy in form here and I believe he stops AJ within 8

Boxing fans don't give a eff about anyone's views. Boxing is a physical event not theoretical Physics. What matters most is fight night... Social media should stop interviewing people about who hit better or their sparing experience... This don't cell tickets. It's like telling the end of a movie before it started... Analysis should be based on the skills and style of each fighter not what happened in the past... or subjective, isolated thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback, just to clarify though, our job isn't to sell tickets, it's to create content viewers want to watch. And having someone who has sparred both fighters compare the two seems to fall into this category. It may not be your preference of course.

What I wrote is just logical truth but it hurts if you find yourself on the receiving end. Oh! It hurts. Even the producer made a comment. We boxing fans have said this time and time again. It’s not worth it bending over for novices with these questions . It shows premature and puerile journalism… make better analytical questions than subjective contentious topical question that won’t take us nowhere…

He may get to fight those guys again in another phase of his career and possibly do it then, so you can't just throw it out already. Everything, including fighters, change. Theyre all in another, different stage of their careers.

Nobody has knocked out Andy Ruiz jr and nobody has even dropped Usyk. Joshua WAS the first to knock out Povetkin though and even Wlad couldn’t do that.
