Quick reminder that the original Z-ARC has a very powerful Pendulum floodgate effect. You can get him in the Pendulum zone pretty easily turn 1 with this new support.

Supreme King Gate Magician - Both a "Supreme King Gate" for Darkwurm and a "Magician" for Call/Iris/Wisdom etc - Gives you a scale then you recover it from the Extra to get the free body and search a Trap and go for Electrum/Beyond to complete the scale and loop it with Astrograph - On its own sets up the trap that properly summons Zarc for a boardwipe if you have nothing else. - Staple 3 off Supreme King Lightwurm - The "Diameter" of the deck as it needs other pieces to shine - Summon effect recovers "Supreme King Gate Magician" that was used to get you a scale, you then SS it and Beyond/Electrum completes the scales while this adds itself to hand if you have less arrows than the ED bodies - End board piece (in the scales) that allows any lvl4 pendulum monster to become Raigeki on opponent's summon via Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing - Solid 1 off (because it is searchable, but i can see 2 as well if you run Pendulum Treasure etc or due to the quick play) New Zarc - As a scale, it recovers OG Zarc from the Pend scales where he acted as a pseudo-dbarrier in order to boardwipe and deal 8k battle damage. After you pendulum summoned with 1-13. - As a monster it can give you a really beneficial scale in your turn, or you can drop it with the traps during the opponent's turn to floodgate them with cards like Antihuman Intelligence (vs Purrely) or a Dracoverlord (vs SHS) Pendulum Evolution - Unbricks Chronograph/Astrograph drawing the small one - Searches Odd-eyes, Astro, Gate Magician and some Abyss Actors/Dinomist, -but also Smile Sorcerer so Smile Universe + Reficule really like that- - The 2nd Pendulum summon is an ignition-like effect (more controlled compared to a trigger) and the only one that doesn't restrict you in any way (hand or extra), so the best 2nd pendulum summon effect in the game - The last part can allow Z-arc to spam Supreme King monsters for OTKs even under Prosperity but most importantly it makes the card searchable. The Light-Winged Dragon - Salad Circle for the deck. - Can abuse Lightwurm for the quick-Synchro into Clear Wing and Raigeki the opponent's field on their turn. Miracle of the Supreme King - Makes OG Zarc into a pseudo-d-barrier, while also summoning the new Zarc in order to get another disruptive scale effect. - Recycles a non-properly summoned Zarc that sits faceup in the extra deck completely unplayable. - Gives you access to any quick play - You can use every effect of the above at the same turn since you can activate multiples of this card. Soul of the Supreme King - Magician of Hope is an easy rank 4 that allows this card to be a boardwipe - Can't be Ashed, but Belle/Lancea hit it unfortunately - Together with the other "soul" trap you can spam Zarcs in a control deck without going combo. Can be abused with Transcaction Rollback as well.

The support unironically looks good but not in the pendulum pile, but as a dedicated zarc midrange deck using the traps. Everything is searchable and there’s several ways to cheat or play zarc to nuke your opp’s board, then either zarc can get you floodgate scales if needed on top of being just fat 4000atk towers.

The thing about Soul of the Supreme Celestial King is that Magician of Hope is a Spellcaster Pendulum Monster with 2500 ATK, so Harmonizing and the trap can just solo Z-ARC Is it viable? Eeeeeeh, who knows

The new support is insane, it opens up a pendulum zarc deck that actually looks good instead of just being a downgrade to the normal pend magician variant. The new zarc fusion is specially insane, with all the new support it's insanely easy to summon zarc now, so you summon the normal zarc and nuke your opponent's board (on their turn btw), and then you can put the new fusion on top and place a pendulum from your deck to your scale to keep extending into further plays, it's crazy good.

Supreme king gate magician is so absurd and searchable. 3x itself, 3 pend evolution, 3 light dragon, 3 duelist alliance, 3 darkwurm, 3 dragonshrine and 1 foolish. Probably not playing the shrines but all the other stuff has multiple targets and isnt likely to brick. Supreme king gate magician is pend circular and in formats with electrumite he will go hard. Curtain raiser but searchable and a +1.

If im going to use double iris magician as a material for the trap card to fulfill the trap card to summon, zarc the effect of zarc will not be negated? Cause double iris is treated as pendulum dragon card.

Will Pendulum support ever matter? I feel like if Pendulums ever become even remotely good in the Meta that Kashtira will just lock out the Pendulum zones and kill any deck.

We still need generic link 1 that search for generic pendulum like all the strong decks have, and also 3 extenders before pend summon. All the pendulum decks are extremely fragile to handtraps (especially nib and droll) and has no room for handtrap and staples which makes the entire mechanic dead. Probably blue eyes is better
