In this India Travel Vlog, we visit Indias beautiful and often forgotten North East. We met our friends in Guwahati, Assam and spent the day with them, being introduced to the best parts of the city, taking in the beautiful Kamakhya Temple, tackling the Guwahati Ropeway, drinking local tea, and visiting a local village to try Assamese Dress, traditional dance, and meet the beautiful people in this region.

Like Melbourne you can explore lots of food culture in Assam. Next time if you visit North East India again kindly take at least 1-2 weeks to explore our Awesome Assam completely. While watching this its really rewind me back to my childhood memories back in Assam and I'm filling up with tears right now.

I am also from Northeast India and I am really happy that you actually explored Assam's culture and traditions. There was a constant smile in my face whole watching the whole video. When you are traveling to a new place then you should try to explore the culture of the places to know the place better. And this "travel vlog" video is actually beautiful and perfect for me. And much love to all those people who were so nice to them and showed them actual Indian hospitality ❤ Hope you had a lovely time in India and specially in our Northeast. Please visit Assam again if you ever come to India. This video carried a different emotion. May be the reason is I am from Assam. Thank you so much, you guys are showing what India really is, chaotic, lovely, crazy, emotional, and sometimes something even bigger, brighter than that. only one request to you, try to avoid any sort of non-veg or drinks for 24 hours if you are planning to go to any temple(12 hours before and 12 hours after). It's for your spiritual benefits, and trust me you will feel better too.

that was quite a good plan to explore Assam with local guide, since Assam is a state with diverse ethnic groups & communities like Bodos, Dimasa, Hajong, Mising, Assamese, Ahoms, etc. with their own unique culture, language, food habits, traditions, etc. And you would require a local person to guide you to understand each. It's a good start though 😅 Next time you can plan for 1 month's trip to explore entire North East comprising of 8 states 😊 I myself being from Assam enjoyed this particular vlog every bit😅

@@Cpt.A1true cuz Assamese means more like being from the state of assam.u can describe them as bamun or kalita and kaibarta according to their community even though they all used Assamese as there mother tongue. Edit- it's same as saying tamang, gurung, lama and nepali as seperate community.

During 2020 Covid Pandemic lockdown, I stumbled across the music of Mizoram. I saw music videos in Zorimawi and MDM channel and I was impressed by their music. It sounded like 1970s USA. My 5 favorite Mizo Artists are the following: 1) K Hminga he is like Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler combined 2) Kimkima he is my favorite Indian artist in Modern times. 3) C Sanga lived from 1974 to 2017 4) Sangtei Khuptong 5) Mami Varte My 5 favorite Mizo songs are the following 1) Zorinzuali Khiangte: Pawmalai Tingtang this song is like Stevie Ray Vaughan House is a Rockin or Stray Cats Rock this Town. 2) Sangtei Khuptong: Di Ruk Te, this 2023 song is in disco form like Gloria Gaynor I will Survive 3) Cassettes: E Khai, this 2021 song features slide guitars and sounds like Elmore James, Muddy Waters or John Lee Hooker. 4) Kimkima: I zun ngaih lunglen Vangin, this song is like 1970s rock song from 2019. 5) Zo Rock: Thahang Ngainhnobein, this song is like Scorpions Winds of Change. Honorable Mention Anthem of the Hills.

I just finished watching your incredible video about your travels in Assam, India, and I must say, it was truly captivating! The warmth and hospitality shown by the locals in Guwahati was heartwarming to witness. It's amazing how Assam, a region often overlooked by tourists, can offer such a unique and enriching experience. I loved how you immersed yourself in the local culture, trying different types of tea, exploring the cuisines. The warm welcome you received in the houses you visited showcased the genuine hospitality of the locals. Trying traditional food and sweets, meeting adorable puppies, and trying on traditional clothing must have made for unforgettable experiences. The bond you formed with the hosts truly shines through in your video. Your reflection on Assam as a unique blend of Southeast Asian and Indian cultures was beautifully put. The unity in diversity, the shared values, and the rich history of the region make it a remarkable destination. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary adventure in Assam. Keep up the fantastic work and safe travels on your future adventures! 🙏
