They were like that because he did a time-saver move, putting the recipe for sticks in too while he was making the crafting table. Overlapping recipes is something no noob could ever think of. Even many casual players don't think of it.

Set seed TASes are very, very fast. The hard part is finding the right seed for the run (such as the god 11/12 eye end portal that is exposed and close to spawn, and enough bed making material, among other things). Once you have the seed you can then TAS it very quickly, with the techniques in the run shown (crystal and bed bombing).

it's because animes adapt mangas and in the manga characters talking doesn't have a definitive time so when it comes to animating they have to slow the pacing down. Like in the final fight if Dio were to say "X seconds" he would have to say it every second making the episode finish too fast and making him talk way too frequently
