If you are looking for a quick map tour for arks newest map Fjordur, then look no further! This will quickly show you the new map for the biomes, base locations, and other awesome features. This will show you jotunheim, and all of the tames, resources, and base locations that will help you master fjordur.
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

Edit: I have learned after making video that Fjordur has no spawns for Fenrir, and it is rather a reward creature.

Ya that's the only thing that bothers me about getting a Fenrir. But at least they didn't remove him from the map. So Fenrir is still a creature you can get, but in order to do so you need to defeat the final boss known as Fenrisúlfr and once you defeat him, you get rewarded with a Fenrir as your prize.

That does bother me to@@grakator8074, I remember that he was breedable in the moded version of Fjördur, but he still is an amazing creature though, he kept his slowing bite, his freezing howl and his ice spikes after the howl, though he has natural armor now instead of a saddle. But I am bummed about the fact that Fenrir is no longer breedable. But I hope you have a great day.

I’ve been wanting Wildcard to add a map of ice and snow that is as Cold as scorched earth is Hot, this is good enough. I will rule Jotunheim with my direwolves and fenrir

@@geoffwright5603 keep in mind that wildcard has yet to fix the aberration artifact drops on consoles and certain Pc builds so lag on fjorder is not going to get fixed for a long while

There is also a cave that has the summon terminal for one of the three mini-bosses that you need to kill if you want to fight the Megapithecus and get it's head to fight the final Fenrir boss .

Fenrir don’t spawn in the map at all, only way to get them is beating the main boss. It really sucks

Another creature that can help in the snow would be a dire bear since they heat you up while riding it

You know fur armor can get wet right? When you walked into the water to fill your tek canteen, you nerfed your insulation even more because you soaked your armor. Fur is less effective for something like 15 minutes after it gets wet. I'm thinking with just a hot tek canteen and unsoajed journeyman fur you could go for quite a while in this weather. Add in some soups every once in a while and youll be alright.

In my SP game I'm able to survive with primitive fur and a high (about 500) melee otter. Overall not as hard as I was expecting

Upgraded fur armor negates the freezing effect almost entirely depending on your Fortitude level. I have a full set of Ascendant fur armor, and 180 Fortitude, and I never even get cold anymore.

Honestly im counting on the misery and lack of resources. Im playing on official and trying to find a place that doesn't get swarmed with players. Every day a new section is covered in pillars

@@sharonhunter9721 We had some of that so the server decided to flood wildcard with pic and video evidence and that tribe kinda got blacklisted. No trades, no handouts, and nobody unlocks traps for them.

I’m a pve player and always have my fortitude really high… and I started living here because I didn’t want to deal with other tribe’s drama. I recommend leveling up an otter’s damage and just keeping it on you- if that doesn’t work drink wyvern milk

Any time I see a structure that looks even vaguely like a specimen implant (valguero beach for instance) I've been calling them 'gates'. That 'V' bridge is also a gate.

I’ve been pumping my fortitude to survive this zone. I’m currently over 200 Fortitude. I really wanna see if I can survive with only half an armor set. If I can survive here without a lot of the necessities then people wouldn’t be able to reach me.

Just do what I do on 2x/3x events and make lots stone structures and beds then progressively move ahead towards the Ice Wyvern egg location and put 3 beds per stone hut and you are golden ( I play Official Pvp as Solo player ;) ) also if you use Jotunheim teleport Zone West, you can make beds near the water and you can fish basket trap LARGE sabre salmons easily for the Otters in Vanaheim South teleport they are easy to tame in the nearby streams

you cant tame a fenrir in the Wildcard map they removed it you only get it by defeating the boss fenrirsulfer now

I hate how unlivablely cold it is in Jotunheim, the other realms are cool, you can go there and have fun, maybe tame some creature variants, but in Jotunheim it's so damn cold that there's really no reason to even be there unless you really need an ice wyvern or you're trying to fight the mini boss. If anything Asgard should be the map that's hard to survive in, it's the realm with all the good stuff

The tek canteen has settings. You can switch to hot and it has the opposite buffs
