@void9837 I'm scared of that verse. But I think you would have to add books, chapters, and verses. Just like on the next verse it tells you not to remove anything. Still, i don't write in my Bible and probably never will. But I do have a punch of stickies and papers taped on.

Taking (written) notes on the bible pages (without destroying it) has nothing to do with that verse. That verse means that no one must add to God's Word their own words, either writting or speaking and teach them@@void9837

I personally can't understand why other Christians feel the need to comment disparaging things or to be nasty. If this is not for you,that's ok. Move on. God doesn't care if your Bible is pristine or colorful. He cares if we are 'In' His word putting it on our hearts. God made us to be creative. When I see someone with a Bible like this, it touches my heart, inspires me to get in the word constantly. I see a person who is in love with the Lord, spending time regularly to soak up His word and to understand Him personally. It's beautiful. We all need to remember that we should think before speaking. If what we want to say isn't to uplift or encourage, etc. it's better to be quiet. We all need to think how Christ would comment.

You are absolutely correct you are not destroying God’s word . We are told take the Word and bind them on the tables of our heart. So even if someone burned up every Bible when it’s in our hearts it can never be destroyed. Keep doing what works.

Ok I don't leave many comments but I'm going to toss in my 2 cents lol 1. You absolutely do not owe anybody an explanation about using your bible the way you want to use your bible it's not their bible it's your bible So when you see those kind of comments just hit the delete button don't even worry about it 2. Anybody who wants to give you a hard time tell them to pick a different channel Personally I don't agree with the version that you use but I have absolutely no problem with you! your teaching is sound your notes are amazing You're growing inChrist and causing others to grow! You are doing Gods WILL and anyone trying to run you or your content is NOT doing Gods will because He wants us to edify each other. 3. You're doing a great thing sister in Christ. Keep it up. I love to see someone who does such deep study in God’s Word. This looks like my study Bible. Each time I finish going through the Bible I give it to my adult kids. They love that and I pray it inspires them.

I would really love to buy a version of your bible, i really love the notes but i would so love to have a copy of your bible complete with the helpful amazing notes and colors that makes it so very easy and i was able to learn for the first time and i finished day 19 this morning

I had been praying about going through the bible in a year because 1) I've been a christian my whole life and never read through the whole bible but, 2) I thought it would be such a beautiful thing to take notes and dig deep and write prayers through the whole bible and gift them to my children as a legacy. I was too overwhelmed at trying to read through the bible and study it an annotate and write prayers for ALL of it in 1 year. UNTIL! Until I found your Bible study! I am so grateful! Your ministry is an answer to my prayers!

Father Mike Schmidt (I think that’s his name) Does a Bible in a year podcast and it’s free. I have listened to it on the way to and from work. I’m finishing soon and plan to go back through again while sitting down with the Bible and reading along and taking notes. It’s been so helpful in learning the Bible.

Love it! I’m still behind on my study since having my stroke (7 months ago now!) but I am still studying every day! I’m going to have to move through next year finishing up but that’s okay. I have transformed!!! 🙌🏼

I love this Bible. What a beautiful gift to whoever gets that Bible. I have notes in my Bible that when I come across them later, I am reminded of what was going on during the time the note that was written. I also taught Bible to high school students. Sometimes students would borrow my Bible and they would leave a note in my Bible. Every time I come across that page, I stop and pray for them. 🙏🏽

Love, love, love your Bible Kanoe. It tells me that you have read, studied, prayed and worshiped our Lord extensively. I was never taught that you shouldn’t write in your Bible. I was born and raised in a traditional fundamentalist church in the south and I remember sitting next to my grandma and watching her write notes in the margins of her Bible during the sermon. My mom wrote in her Bible as well. I’m not sure if my dad did. I think some Christian denominations may discourage writing in the Bible. So it’s probably just how they were brought up. I agree, you should do what God is telling your heart to do regarding whether to write directly in your Bible or not. I’m excited for this new year. Thank you soooo much for starting this KZfaq channel.

I LOVE all your notes in the Bible. I have seen my mother highlight & pen notes in her Bible all my life. It's a good thing. I feel that God will honor a person for learning more of HIS word by adding notes, than someone just trying to keep the pages perfectly. ❤

Lol..I am actually rewriting the Bible in a Moleskin notebook and it is incredible how taking the time to write it out beautifully is helping to hide it in my heart. I saw @catwoods do it on her channel and realized it's a great idea! Glory to Jesus Christ!

Love all the notes, that's what my Bible looks like and I am leaving it for my grandchildren, starting in ESV Scripture Journals for 2024, I have used them before and I really enjoy them.

I’m not sure if you have ever seen any videos from “How to Faith a Life” but she also has an incredible Bible. I think you would really like to see some of the ways she adds notes to her Bible, and keeps adding to it year by year while still being able to read it. It was a total game changer for me. I love that you were going to gift it to your kids. I can’t wait to see what next year’s Bible looks like. Thank you for sharing! It is always so inspiring to see how other people get into the word of God. I got an interleaved Bible this year for the first time and holy moly was that the best thing I ever did. Having a full pge to take notes on was something that I’d never even considered before this last year. I was totally the girl who used to think writing in my Bible was desecrate it. The last two weeks I have made a huge effort to spend time studying God each day and my mental health is soaring. God is so good!

Thank you so much for sharing how you do your bible journaling. I think it is a great idea to use black ink and colored highlighters to align the scripture with the notes. I am doing my first reading and use a separate notebook along with the bible for notes. And thank you for being such a positive inspiration for understanding God's word.

Kanoe, I love that you are thoughtfully saving this for your children. My dad passed last February, and of all the things I have that were his, the most important was his Bible (well....he had several, but this was his main one). It's so special! I love how marked up and "busy" yours is!

That is one beautiful Bible!! Thank you for inspiring me to get a journaling Bible. While I read the Word every day, very little gets absorbed and when I go back to a verse and it’s been highlighted, I don’t remember why. Having the notes and thoughts right at the verse will be a great help. My large font ESV journaling Bible is now ordered and in the mail 😊. Bless you!

So many of us have Bibles for studying that look like this, lol - I just started with the bible as I am newly reformed - I was agnostic up until a friend died basically - I needed something - someone - and that one little thought led me to places I never thought I could go - things started happening, people I met - no coincidence. I think back to all of the signs that god has always been with me and waiting for me - he always knew I would change and see what he is and has to offer; it's rather beautiful. I begged, cried, and pleated for a sign that my friend was okay - he granted that prayer to me - I woke up with NO pain - I mean, I was still sad, but the pain and agony, the endless crying - was gone - and I just KNEW - anyways so year later I decided its time to really dive deep. I love journalling, I do this in other books as well. I have a life recovery bible - my friend whom I lost as mentioned above suffered from alcoholism so I wanted to learn what I could about it

Lord bless you Kanoe. A couple weeks ago my youngest son asked if he could have my bible when I pass. Mine is nearly as fat as yours and it started brand new. So he gets this one and my other two sons will get my next two if I make it that long lol. When I heard you say that your kids are getting yours it excited me. The neat thing about my son asking for this bible is he's not a Christian....yet!! His name is Scott. Please pray for him to get saved. Thank you.

I grew up convinced that my Bible needs to be pristine. I recently joined a new church and discovered the NLT Bible. Got myself a copy at the beginning of the month. It already looks well-used. I love it so much 😁 it's MY Bible. It's MY first time connecting to a church. It makes me so happy because it's like a piece of me now

Love that you do that. I am starting to do this and just write whatever I get revealed and probably will not go back once I am done. I will start a new bible and do the same, because God’s revelation is fresh each day when we read the word. One bible verse could have soo many revelations ideas from God for each of us, depending on what what wants you talk to us about. ❤
