@@mei.papier i like both but i have to say i prefer the talking ones! you have a nice voice and i really enjoy listening to the thought process behind your journals, and also the things you talk about in general. it feels like i'm watching a friend, which adds to the overall fun of the video :D

You are the first person I’ve seen that has so many years filled out in the Midori 10 year!! 🎉 I want to ask, does it lay flat and is it easy to write in? Also, I noticed you used highlighter on your previous entries. Do you do that for all of them and does it smear the ink? I would like to highlight my entries by year. 😀

Yes it does and it's so easy to write in. Highlighting is not a problem, just use archival ink so that it won't fade over time. Happy journaling! :)

Hi Mei, I've just purchased a Midori 5yr journal and I was looking for ideas on how to decorate the pages. I did a quick search and found your channel. I love how you've decorated your pages, particularly the colour you bring to each page. The only other videos I seen on how people use their Midori 5yr journals, they write in black foundation pen and that's about it. Having just finished my first travel journal and having embellished it with lots of colour, the idea of just journaling in black made my heart sink a bit. Thanks for sharing your ideas. ❤

Choosing a sticker that reflects my daily memories is my favorite part of decorating. I am glad that you appreciate this video. I will pick up a 5yr Midori once I am done with this one. 🥰

Maybe change your lotion to a different one that is less slippery? Thank you for posting and sharing your process. I enjoy your videos very much! Question: How long does it usually take for you to complete your daily journal practice?

Nice question! The Midori is pretty quick and takes 10 minutes. The Hobonichi is around 30 or more. I allot an hour each morning for my daily pages ☕☺
