Steve Perry was absolutely correct when he said “the magic fingers of Neal Schon 🎸” less than 10 seconds of play and he carried the vocals and song to another level. What an amazing guitarist. God bless you Neal for giving us such soulful melodic⚡️ notes and bless you all 🙏

That was really cool of you, Neal. On another note, please please please get Steve and Gregg back! I can’t stop thinking about 1977-1980 and what a magical era that was. Really amazing, timeless stuff. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make it happen, there has to be a way. The world needs this 😉

Neal will do no such thing.He is to full of himself and that was the reason for the split.Steve and the band were fantastic.This what ever you call it Journey is not the real thing and Neal should be ashamed.

I respect the ongoing love for Steve Perry, but any wishes for them to reunite are delusional. Steve CAN NOT SING THE WAY HE ONCE COULD. Even he would admit it, and has. As much as I'd love to see the Infinity lineup reunite it can not happen for many reasons.

Here's one very telling thing I took away from last night's performance: Both average singers in very early stages of their careers referred to each other as " legends" along side a TRUE music legend Neal Schon. What??? This is a growing problem in today's young, look at me generation of instant gratification and self absorbed celebrity. Enjoy your fleeting fifteen minutes. Neal was all class during this. A true music icon and legend.

Neal looks awesome. I'm glad the young man didn't try to hit notes that were impossible for him. Great restraint is talent as well. It had to be a great honor for Neal.

OMG you are so right about that. I mean who are those people? I couldn't even watch the video long enough to see Neil. He must be desperate for money to get up there. He Was so much better than that. I have no idea if he still is great. I miss Journey, not this dive bar cover band.

He's not! you're a 🤡 journey was already a journey even steve perry joined the band. Steve definitely helped tremendously in helping the journey reached its mainstream appeal, but to discredit the rest of the people who started it is disgraceful! steve wasn't even an original member.

Neal, Great, like always!!! But, I did not like the singer at all. When you've heard this song a million times from the best "Steve Perry", it's very hard for someone else to even come close to him. Sorry, but that's how I feel! Love to Neal and his magic, gold fingers. :)

Sorry i gotta say this bcoz majority of the comments was f***king salty talking again n again about steve perry FYI journey has been dead already if Neal Didnt Find Arnel Pineda. It was funny to know that People of America and outside of that country still can't accept that on the other side there was an Asian Guy carrying the Torque of the Past Frontman and still touring aroung the world without knowing the vocals is still insane. Watching other old bands can't even sing anymore and just letting the crowd to sing along just to hide their fading voices😹😹 Realshit, But meanwhile AP can still Sing high notes despite of his age bruh.

For me it is not the same without the drummer. Anyone can full in now, but Steve Smith came up with that drum part and the song is not the same without it.

Despite all the p&m, that's pissing and moaning about Steve Perry's absence, that song gives me goodies as does the classic riffs from Neal's recognizable style. Watch the performance again, Kodi Lee did NOT sing all that much, but he does play a mean piano and nailed it!

When you see the supposedly “talents” perform Journey songs like this, you will appreciate much more Arnel Pineda who sings these hard to sing songs day in and day out. You may find a better singer who can emulate Steve Perry somewhere, but longevity is the question.

From Texas. Why are people so critical? I loved Steve but to me Arnel is the best, but just stop and listen to theses guys. They are great. I’m glad to see Neal give his approval for something like this. That should be all it takes.
