RAMUNI - Viking Crafts and Reenactment

This is My very first video made with the full intent to try and create content for My channel. We spend summer with my wifes family in Asturias, Spain and I spend some freetime carving and woodworking. I decided to try and make a video and spend the following month experimenting with My Phone (Huawei p30 lite) settings, editing and the use og a gorillapod and a simple low end tripod. This inspired me to continue and create this channel and fuelled My energy for making high quality and great to watch content about my Viking Crafts and Living in the time coming

So much woodworking is done inside. This was a great natural setting. I could feel the time passing as you worked hard in the sun on your spoons . I love wooden spoons and ladles! A beautiful video in an inspiring area. Oh so nice!

So nice to see that you play the Guitar ,as do I , Great to see the Familt enjoying their Holidays also , the Spoon reminds me of days gone by when I first was Learning to be a Cabiinet maker , my old Trade , These days its all done by Machine , and many of the old skills seem to have gone ! , Be Well my Friend , Also Love to the Family also .🙂❤👍

That’s some healthy looking nettle brother. 3:07 Believe it or not nettle and. Cannabis are related genetically 😊 not that it’s hard to tell in that clip

Well done on the video and spoon! What is that you rub on the spoon to darken up the engravings?

Thank you Gabriel. Its simply finely ground Coffee beans. With a little oil they Will fill the grooves and after closing the fibre of the wood back in on the grooves with the back of a knife it stays for a long time. Its called kolrosing. I think its an old nordic tecnique. You Can also use charcoal or other materials finely ground.
