@@DeepVerma728 My ancestors used to worship false gods, statues and all that, but as soon as Christianity was introduced in Fiji, they stopped cannibalism and traditional tattooing for women. So it wasn't your people that changed us. But ot doesn't mean that all itaukeis are Christians, because there are some who practice witchcraft and worship statues, idols. Real Fijians know about the real culture and history of itaukei's & we respect that

I come from a mixed family I have seen so much hate by the native Fijians specially from old traditional chiefs injecting hate and violence into our young brother's and sisters.I hope to see the new generation all to be educated and think for them self soon.thinking on your own is freedom.

I have seen great progress in Fiji in the last 5 to 10 years. Citizens in cities, living in nice furnished homes and driving late model vehicles. Roads & bridges built in remote areas, drinking water and electricity made available etc. More importantly kids remaining in school to finish their high school terms and further their education beyond that. Wether this is a direct result from better governing, i honestly cannot say. But things are looking up and better for Fiji. Keep it going Fiji !
