The outcome of the battle of Hydaspes was crystal clear. It has been shown from countless evidence many years back that these people are not and could not have been descended from Greeks, and even if that were the case they wouldn't look like this. What is much more likely is that these people are direct descendents of the Aryan settlers of India, who were isolated in the mountainous region such that they did not mix more with the Tamils down south, although they are still not pure Aryans, as their steppe (Aryan) DNA averages at around 20-30%. For a more accurate representation of what Aryans may have looked like, look at northern Slavic people like Russians or Poles.
