Actually, down in D.C./DelMarVa peninsula/Hampton Roads knew exactly what he was all about. My dad used to have conversations about him with his friends in Pennsylvania and New Jersy all the time. If they're not paying rent they get evicted. He's not running a charity. A business depends on cashflow and those times were tough back in the 70's. As to the timing of the eviction, we have no proof he evicted them on Christmas day and it seems unlikely to me. An eviction order has to be issued by a court judge and they determine the date.
