At a later date, it might come out a fright At a later date, I hope that you're alright Human beings are dangerous and they call me in the dark But everything gets twice as cold in marching for a lark There's loads of things I'd like to do if I could find a time Working really tires me and I think I'll turn to crime At a later date, I hope they start it soon At a later date, before we hit the moon

In 1977, when Joy Division were Warsaw they were running on the Punk Invasion hype going on through the UK, especially Manchester. The reference to Hess was similar to the Sex Pistols where shirts with Swastikas on. It was just a 'punk' thing to do. Thats what Barney said in an interview anyway.

Ian Curtis a very gifted singer and performer. I have never heard this very a great song. You can truly hear Ian Curtis full of energy hear and his joy in singing this song. Ian Curtis before his devastating life changing illness with epilipsy seizures and all those meds he was put on. We lost a very special young man and gifted singer that early Sunday morning between 4:am and 4:30am when Ian Curtis hung himself. The worst thing for him was being alone that morning he became very scared and couldn't see going forward. He felt he was letting everyone down around him.

It's so sad. I also think he had issues with his wife. He loved anik because it was more than a sexual relationship and I think in a few of his songs he talks about the pleasures of a normal man he cant feel...the meds he was on left him with ed and as a young man that affected him alot. His wife wanted that but anik didnt and he felt conflicted. Bless him. It breaks my heart the amount of pain he was in...

Why must we be put down when we try to get away? Why must we all grow up when we could just play and play? Good things in life are free Can't buy everything, that's true Only one thing wrong with that What I don't buy I don't use Only thing I'm thinking of is why are we all here? There must be more to do at nights than drinking rotten beer The world's a very shady place and you can't trust a soul "Grin and bear it" seemed the thing when it just gets a hold

thanks for asking ;) It's a couple of bands we produce. I am in an independent label named IAP and we have some new records released. Maethelyiah, the singer, is mad for Pink Floyd, Joy Division, 60's 70's bands. One of the amazing things of JD is that the band is timeless. We listen today like we did 30 years ago. Simply timeless. So glad to discover channels with great vids like this. well done, mate! ;)

Only song under still name Warsaw but was released in June of the following year under band new name Joy Division that changed January of 1978. I found this album used but pristiane condition. How do you know that their name "Warsaw" comes from the Bowie song and not directly from the name of the Polish capital? Since they sang a lot about WW2 it makes much more sense to me. But than again, it may be both...
