Atmosphere and Ceremony are my favourite and most relatable songs. Rip Ian, hope I'll meet you one day, somewhere.

Sad deal man, I feel for you. Social isolation, doesn't matter if it's self inflicted or not, is damaging to our very being and soul. We are to be as ONE, but separately we loose the light of life. I pray for you man

Very true. The final scene is extremely painful and just sad as fuck. It feels so real, the way the actress playing Debbie screams upon discovery of the body gives me goosebumps and shivers every single time. Then this song comes on and its so easy to find a feeling that all of this could've been prevented, Ian could've been saved.
@liammgill2 жыл бұрын
@@noverrr4508 Anton Corbjin really did an amazing job at telling his story with the utmost sincerity and understanding of the gravity of Joy Division's impact on the music scene and of Ian's death. He also directed the music video for Atmosphere. The final shot in the film, where Atmosphere keeps playing and the camera is stationary on the shot of the smoke rising from the crematory chimmney and then "Ian Curtis died May 18, 1980. He was 23 years old" fades in will never not bring me to tears.

Been struggling really hard with existential despair...depression ect....lost the one real relationship I had going because I subconsciously pushed her away....reached a peak back in the summer....mother decided to get two kittens...they immediately bonded to me and were a single thing i found joy in....everything else kept getting worse but those two cats were a light...come christmas eve one of them doesnt come in at the normal time...find him christmas day outside in shock and sick....turns out someone bumbed him with their car that night...his bladder and intestines were perforated....had to put him down the day after christmas...now the other one is looking all around for him....I cannot shake this sense of malice from the universe and god
