I fully agree 1000% .. Tailor made ang movie na to sa KathDen.. Hindi din to bagay ke Deej, bagay talaga ke Alden.. ( although Im a KathNiel fan before ) .. Iba din umacting si Alden.. Im really happy they are the best of friends up until now, even after 4 years ! Sana sila na. Sana sila na lang ulet ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This movie is the perfect definition of the "If you really love her, then let her go" and "If she's really for you, then she'll come back". This movie is truly a masterpiece. And I feel like people don't understand the message behind this movie that is very important, specially on the Philippines. It requires a lot of love, strength and sacrifice to do what they did. I don't think a second part is needed because the lesson that this movie gives is what the youth nowadays has to understand. Joy gave up on staying in Hong-Kong with Ethan because she wanted to pursue her dreams, she never wanted to settle for the easiest life and honestly that's amazing. It shows true independence and it shows that we as woman shouldn't be allowed just to marry a man. It proves that we can do and we can be more than that. That's why this movie is by far my favorite one.❤

True! This scene showed us both perspectives. Ethan's rebuttal of "selfish" when Joy decided to pursue her own and yet he did all of these for Joy to make her stay (selfish) triggering Joy to ask "ginawa mo lang lahat ng 'to para piliin kita?" If we really love someone, we really need to set them free 😌 They'll wander around and get lost but they will find their way back to you if it's meant to be.

Ito ang scene na talagang NAKAKAIYAK, NAPAPAISIP ang viewers dahil sa simple, direct to the point na dialogue nila. Ang daming ARAL na mapupulot, but at the same time silang dalawa talaga ay hirap magdecide para sa sarili. Pareho silang may katwiran sa ipinaglalaban nila.

This scene was heartbreaking, yet so incredibly well acted that I had to watch it twice 💔 There is so much to praise about this film (and usually, I tend to criticize Filipino films): Cathy Garcia-Molina's direction, the cinematography, the tracking shots, the writing--which was realistic of what actual OFW workers and couples go through, the editing where the run time didn't feel too long or too short, and the acting. Oh my word, the acting. I know that Alden and Kath must have been emotionally exhausted from shooting this scene alone. They brought out the best in each other. I'm glad that this movie was made, the fans embraced Kath starring opposite Alden, and this deservedly earned that highest Filipino grossing film of all time.

Nakaka relate ako dito as i have my relationship right now. I have dream to go abroad para matupad ko din pangarap ko. Pero yung tipong may kulang puso mo na may gusto kapang marating kaso baka sa pag alis mo wala ka nang babalikan. Yung tipong natupad mo pangarap mo pero nawala na taong pinaka mamahal mo😥😥😥

Almost 4 years na since napanood ko tong movie na to, I was never into local films, pero ito lang yung nag iisang movie na sobrang nakaapekto sakin. Ilang beses ko pang pinanuod ulit. I never thought na after a year, I would also be in the same situation. Iniimagine ko lang before, how would it be in Joy's shoes. Life is such a different shades of colors. This film, in general depicts life, relationship and personal dreams of someone at the cost of inevitable sacrifices, pain, loss and uncertainties. Every sense of this film is truly a masterpiece.

Nung unang pinanuod ko yung movie na nagandahan ako sobraaa pero hindi ako naiiyak pero 2nd time na pinanuod ko sya tapos na realise ko na pag nasa sitwasyon ka pala ni joy na pagiging breadwinner shet sobrang emotional damage. Relate na relate ako dun sa linya na “gusto ko na lang maging selfish”. Ako nga gusto ko na lang ma coma sa sobrang bigat pero kakayanin para mabago yung buhay ng mga kapatid ko kapit laaaaang !

Umalis di Joy 2019 at bumalik na ngayon 2024. Ayos its been 5 years si Joy sa Canada timing natapos yong kontrata ya 2024 at magbalik sa Hongkong at nagkita sila ni Ethan ulit at nag decided na sila magpapakasal. I hope there's a second movie where they end up together again for a short time but it shouldn't end with a happy ending, It should end with Joy's complete family and Ethan's father being healed because that's the main priority of an overseas worker
