So, he should not look overjoyed or break down when he is in public..." True to his words, when Balban's dearest son's death news came while fighting with Mangols in manerkotla, he was holding the court proceedings. He heard this with flat face and kept on the proceedings. After it was over, he went back to his palace and cried like anything... didn't come out of his room for next two days.. This is what a king ought to be.. Salute to those who are keeping our rich tradition live..🙏🙏
