I love how giddy Whoopi is with these fabulous women. She's always defended and supported the Asian community fiercely. She's always advocated for marginalized communities. Whoopi is the real deal. Always has been. Some people expect and want her to be a perfect human that they are not so they give her a hard time but you can't deny she's a marvellous icon and advocate for inclusivity. Love Whoopi's little rap in the end to support the beats ha!

This kinda made me teary eyed! I’m not even Asian, but I love the Asian community and it’s time for them to shine and everyone else should also! Hopefully before I step of this world we just watch movies or shows or listen to music just because it’s good and not because of race.

saw the trailer for the first time last night and it looks great! The KPOP scenes really got me lol. I also love Stephanie Hsu as an actress so cant wait to see! When I saw four asian women/non binary people on the screen I instantly smiled! I love to see the diversity, inclusion, and representation on my screen always!

It’s important for non-Asians to know the importance of Asians telling their own stories correctly, such as Chinese speakers speaking Chinese and not misrepresenting and not forcing someone Korean, like Ashley, to speak and be Chinese when she can’t (like she has to pretend to in Emily in Paris).

This Asian representation and the story about Idris Elba playing Bond represents fair access to employment opportunities (i.e. affirmative action) which, in light of the Supreme Court’s judgment ending it for college admissions, is hopeful that in spite of it, change will happen.

I don't really get why you put representation in quotes. You don't need to watch something if you don't want to that's always been the case. Not true. As as a black person in Britain I felt embarrassed and ashamed when I heard about all the recent physical attacks in America on Asian Americans. All the scenes and reports I saw 90 percent of the perpetrators shown were African Americans. Dave Chapelle who I'm not a fan of seemed to be the only African American to actually mention it even then he glossed over it quickly.
