Obviously MMR system screwed matchmaking but it was quite fun experience for me.
Music: C418 - Wet Hands, but it's a uplifting adventurous Soundtrack
I've been listening to this song for the last few days and it's so calm and jouyful at the same time! It's perfect for animating and overall as a background music for work and sounds very inspiring so that's i've decided to make a simple montage with it.

Even though new MMR system made matchmaking worse I finally had so much fun as killer after a long time on sweaty red ranks where everybody are assholes and all they want is to win or just bully. Now you can chill and let everyone have fun watching those new players doing weird adorable things. I had a blast and pure joy playing like that and want everyone to do the same when matchmaking goes to hell - just have some fun.

Playing a match as Freddy for a Daily Ritual. Ten minutes into the match had all four of them hooked at least once and no Gens done, I decide something isn’t quite right. Nea is following me around begging me to kill her, so at this point I down her and am just carrying her on my shoulder as I chase the other survivors. Twenty minutes in, Nea and one of the Claudettes is dead, I literally stare at Meg and the other Claudette as they do their first Gen. Meg DCs and I carry Claudette to hatch. Rank 20, Rank 20, Rank 19, Rank 7. I’m a Rank 1 killer. I had decided to let them all go, just wanted to get two hooks out of them, but they KTS. Legit the most painful game I’ve had yet, and I have 3500 hours in this game.

It's weird how many big DBD content creators (Scott Jund for one) said that a new and "properly working" MMR system would be bad for their content, since, well, if you're good, you're only facing good sweat squads, which isn't fun. But this new system became such a flood of new videos and streams that I'm impressed.

I mean that's what the old system did anyway? At least for me who I wouldn't even consider good, often got rolled by efficient players. I'm not trying to do the entitled meme where I'm berating people for doing the objective either, it's just frustrating going against players who are clearly better than me.

@@Korhi maybe there needs to be a rank higher than 1, jf that's possible since there is a clear difference is skill level between someone who gets to rank 1 for the first time compared to someone who has gotten to rank 1 coountless times

Played a game of Oni on Dead Dawg Saloon. I'm a rank four killer. Survivors didn't know how to drop pallets and would run out in the open. I have three hundred hours in the game and in the lobby, I found out that two of them had just downloaded it and were playing with their friends. I couldn't take it and I'm happy I let them go. But I must say that I have never seen anything worse than this matchmaking. It kills whatever interest I have in this game when I think about it. Fix it, BHVR.

Behaivor just wanted to so something good 🥺. They invested a lot of time for this MMR system just for us. Yes they failed but many people complained about the broken matchmaking. So they tried to fix it. 💙

I was on a 4 survivor stack and we got 5 rank 1s in a row, so the last time we just decided to meme and the killer was super receptive and we all farmed BP together, and he let us go. He was a rank 5 and was really just a great guy. I'm really proud of what this community can be sometimes.

Yes rank one survivals face rank 20 killer and rank 1 killers face rank 20 survivals I prefer face rank 1 survivals than rank 20 I feel taht I became better at the game because I did face rank 1 survivals from the start

@@Korhi I did face as a killer survivals that are crouching behind trees all the time and scaredto touch gens none of them did do gens for 5 mints then I did friend one of them to do gens and I followed the other 3 and hooked everyone of them once just to let them feel that they did do very good at the game I did have to miss one million timw they running to places that doesn't have any pallets all the time I did feel bad very bad I didn't want to show them that I don't want to kill them I did want them to have a good experience but I did had to farm with one of them for it to work

MMR was great as it was the only way I could do the adept achievements for all the Killers, plus a couple of others. Unless this happens again that Huntress one of 100 downs with hatchets from 24 metres plus away is NEVER happening.

For me as killer was the opposite. I was matched only with rank 1 survivor that insulted me every game. I stopped playing dbd until the mmr was fixxed or removed

I just realized. The MMR could be good. Well basically, a killer thats more experienced and have lots of play time could let newer players(survivors) have fun(if they know). Because I've noticed that most lower rank Killers against low rank survivors isn't fun. Basically the least experienced killer(say rank 18/19/20) will sometimes camp or tunnel a rank 17/18/19/20 survivor. Which can not be fun for the player. So maybe the mmr may be good. Well the only positive thing I found out of the mmr was that a higher experienced killer could let less experienced survivors have fun. Sometimes... But I have not yet seen one group of experienced survivors let a less experienced killer have fun.

Yes. Most of killer main when they see a rank 20 doesn't play toxic but makes them have fun because they know how much frustration you can get. By the other hand... A survivor main seeing a rank 20 killer is like "AHAH THIS NOOB ID FUCKING CASUAL/CLICKCLICK FUCKER/LET ME TBAG JUST REAL QUICK AHAH" They have no empathy

At this point I started farming with survivors and letting them escape because of this shit going on. Guys who are red ranks hear me out, rn a lot of new players are willing to refund the game and just uninstall it because they are getting bullied by toxic survivors/killers. I know getting bp and win is what people want ,but we don’t want new players to think that this game is shit and it’s not worth it. We don’t want new players to think that we are a toxic community who complain about tunneling or camping. We don’t want these new players to think that if they will play the game they will get bullied and lose the match again and again and again. Let’s just for once forget about winning and try harding and actually give rank 20s good first expression of the game. So what if we will be rank 20 ourselves?So what if we will get low bp? Let’s just help the new players out and let them have fun and not get disappointed at this game.
