He's not saying he wants to see a christmas tree in church, the reason he wants to go to church is to watch things breaking. He also never said he wish he was there when this happened, so he just means that at the moment he posted, he would consider going to the church at that moment or in the near future if something like that was sure to happen again and he somehow knew it. In a hypothetical scenario.

Franklin Bumgartener, it all started Christmas Eve 2016, my father n law, the pastor, always loves to do a one hour service. The candelabra’s were placed on the stage for the first time. We had just got done singing a few Christmas songs when he began his 15 minute sermon. We all just stood there. My wife on piano, my daughter, and son to my right. As the pastor began his closing prayer, I began to move back to stage mixer board. I felt someone touch my shoulder but the someone was the first candelabra. As I held the wireless microphone in my hand I saw the first one starting to fall. I thought I will catch it. It slipped through my hand and it tackled the other one. I did the splits, never tore my pants, then stood up with one candelabra with one candle to prove I did not completely fail. Then the last candle win the fight. The rest is history. Lol. The pastor my father n law passed away this March. He really enjoyed this viral video and being on America’s Funniest Video and winning. Enjoy it never gets old. Lol x 1000000
