How To Make Party Fish Recipe ( #partymeals #pepperedfish
Half Carton of croaker fish (24 pieces)
To Season the fish i used...
1 Tablespoon of ducrus curry powder
1 seasoning cube ( or the 2 in 1 knorr)
1 Tablespoon fish seasoning ( or grate in 1 garlic and small ginger )
To Fry The Fish
You’ll need oil enough to deep fry the fish
Add 1 bulb of onion to flavor the oil
To Stew The Fish
400g of tomato paste
800g tomato sauce
Scotch bonnet pepper (to taste)
2 Onions
5 bell peppers ( or tatashe)
3 garlic
Half of a thumb sized ginger
1 seasoning cube
1 Tablespoon of curry powder
1 Tablespoon of thyme
Oil for frying.
To garnish the peppered fish...
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 onion
1 spring onion ( scallion)

You can clean the sink with bleach spray it will take way the raw smells and also you can watch your fish and meat with lime or lemon and vinegar

The oil was still very hot, and I didn’t want to mistakingly burn myself while trying to pour it into the pot. So I used another pre used oil.

It was the aroma from your kitchen that woke me up. The fish was well seasoned and nicely fried, the sauce was everything, that pot is very good I can relate, I have one that I have been using for over 10 years to cook for people and I no go throway am 😅😅, nice sharing Ngozi.

This is my favorite Fish. I use salt to wash my fish and even chicken too. My mum taught me that. You are right it acts as a disinfectant. Infact, this Fish eeeh, let me carry my long throat and behave myself. I enjoyed watching.

Salt does the same thing. You can either use salt or use lemons. You obviously didn't listen to what she said because you needed to tell her what you know.

This is a cultural thing abeg 🙄, this woman cleaned that fish thoroughly with salt, that’s to clean enough... do you know what the salt is doing when she uses it that way? she even used it multiple times. I didn’t know that people wash their meet with lemon until I married a Haitian man. An average African will not use lime and salt and this is not a sign of uncleanliness. Depending on where you are from people do things differently so do as you please but let’s demean other people’s ways just because it’s not the same as our way. This is disgusting? Naaah y’all are reaching ✋

This fish looks like tilapia I was even thinking it’s tilapia.we are coming for thanksgiving dinner in your house ,no turkey today but croacker fish.the fish is well seasoned and nicely fried Nnem This fish will go well with jellof rice and fried plantain.

The pepper is kind of the main taste so you'll need it

Pepper is optional o. I mentioned it in the video as well that when cooking for a party, ( remember you don’t know their spice tolerance. ) it is better to play safe with the pepper but if you’re making it for personal consumption, of course use as much as you like.

Ok. but I always add the sauce to balance everything. Just like when we make stew now. I can use only bell peppers as well, but because it’s pricy, when cooking in large quantity I just use a stew base. I hope I’ve made sense 😀♥️

Depends on what you're making... If the fish is for a stew then no.... No flour is used
