It must be over 50 years since I rode these , really stick in the memory. Lovely to see the ride still in operation.

The first time I rode them was about 50 years ago - a classic 🙂 So pleased these and the Tubs are still going strong!

Forget Disney World and the likes, you have not 'lived' until you have had a ride on the Snails in Great Yarmouth, A classic still going from when I was little. So must have appeal. Us little seaside towns don't need to rip up attractions every few years to stay cool. Quality stays COOL.

Hehe, yes Phyllis. I'm 57 & have the happiest memories of a holiday in Great Yarmouth & going on these snails with my dear mum. It's great to see they are still going after all these years! :)

I wonder how many trips these snails have done over the years . I remember going on them as a kid and iam in my mid 60,s 😊 . I look forward to the time I can take my grandchildren on them when we next visit . Great memories

Looks pretty fun, haha. The design is basically kind of a weird fusion of a small coaster and a completely outdoors Ghost Train, with a kid friendly fantasy theme of course.

LOL - ok Steve I did speed the flat section up to double speed - the rest of it is normal speed though!

geez, they could at least paint some pictures on the wall at the beginning of the ride so it's not so bland, it's just a red wall to your right and bushes to your left... COMPLAINING ABOUT KIDS RIDES, haha.

Hahaha It looks like an intense roller coaster ! :D You should come visit Liseberg again. It's a new Ride called Helix look that up on KZfaq It's AMAZING!

I don't need to look it up...many of my friends have already ridden it - we are off to USA and Canada this year, but I am sure we will be back at Liseberg in the not too distant future!
