I suffered severe depression 18 years ago as a teenage, got addicted to cigarettes. Spent my whole life fighting Cigarettes addiction. I was actually diagnosed with cptsd and mental disorder. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.

One time I was tripping hard with my 3 roommates in college. We were tripping so hard none of us felt comfortable even speaking. We just laid around in the living room remaining silent. We were a good 5 hours into this trip of silence when all of the sudden I looked over and seen a green troll run across the room. I remained silent, but looked back at my roommates. Suddenly the silence was broken when my one roommate looked at me and said, “I saw the green fucker too”

I've always said that psychedelics generally work like an onion when you use them in a proper way. You work yourself through the layers of the onion and once you have finished up a layer you go a layer deeper, tackling deeper topics and deeper fears. If you overdose, you forcefully rip open deeper layers that you aren't ready for, being totally overwhelmed by what erupts.

I’ve taken mushrooms a lot and had some crazy trips, but the one that stands out the most isn’t even that crazy to tell, but it changed my life forever. I was 20 and hanging around with the wrong crowd. I was always doing stupid things and occasionally getting into trouble with the law. I was suicidal and confused with life. On a beautiful winters day here in New Zealand, I took a relatively small amount of Psilocybe Subaeruginosa by myself and sat at the top of a massive valley overlooking a river, trees and a couple of distant houses with smoke drifting up through their chimneys. It was the perfect setting. As I began to trip, I became overwhelmed with the silent sound of nature. The cold air in my lungs. I was immersed in the moment to the point I became emotional and extremely grateful for my finite existence. Things began to make sense. I realised for the first time in my life that I wasn’t just this confused thing living in the universe, but that I WAS the universe. I realised that I was just as much a part of the cosmos as the valley I looked over. I belonged there. It’s crazy that I only took the mushrooms to get f**ked up, I wasn’t expecting a revelation. I sat there for hours, watching birds fly below and above me, taking in all the colours, sounds and smells as the sun dropped behind the mountains and the sky changed in cinematic fashion. From that day on I found a new love for life and a deep, unbroken connection to nature. I breathe in differently now when I’m outdoors. I see nature as conscious and something worth protecting. How they can make psilocybin mushrooms illegal I don’t understand. I know many lost people that need to experience what I have. It could save their lives. I’m grateful for people like Paul Stamets and Dr Roland Griffiths. I hope whoever is reading this is doing ok. Peace and love. Edit: I just lost one of my best friends to suicide. He was such a confident person. Always full of life and by far the most charismatic person in any room. His death has sent shockwaves through our group. He never took psychedelics. Not once. In the past few years of his life, we drifted. He was in the UK and I was in NZ. I’m not here to say that psychedelics would have saved him, but I won’t pretend that they wouldn’t have potentially had an impact on his outlook of life. I’m burdened with the notion of “what if”. We have to progress in our society and bring psilocybin into the mainstream. It needs to at least be an option for people. Rest In Peace, Luke. Take care people x

When I was in Negril Jamaica, I met an old guy named Ted. He was a well known mushroom connoisseur, who appeared in High Times since the 70s. He had these crazy mushrooms his mother brought to Jamaica 80 years before. So he puts a nice pinch of mushrooms in the blender for each of us involved. Then he puts in some fruit juice, and then a tablespoon of honey for each 1 of us. He tells me that it will hit us faster. Then he turns the blender on for about 10 minutes. He tells me this is the way. Then we drank the stuff, 10 minutes later I had the craziest mushroom trip of my life! I was the funniest I've ever been. I was like a comedian, when normally I'm introverted lol. Hands down one of the best nights of my life. I was sad to hear when he passed. I could only imagine how many people he helped! 💯

Which is exactly how he described his mushroom trip near the end. Where he would get near an Einsteinien conclusive idea, only to then be fizzled away by a tangent. Trips tend to magnify your traits into cool experiences. For me, on acid and a couple of fat tokes of grass during the peak, I was walking through downtown Sac, and every block was a stage. Every pedestrian was looking at me for the next move, just as actors follow each other's leads. There was even a block where they were moving set pieces onto the stage. Sometimes I think it was my insecurities, my self-consciousness manifesting a movie that fits my narrative. Then again, isn't life but a self-starring movie fitting our own perspective narratives? Funny that.

The last time I tripped on mushrooms was back in 97. It was both amazing and traumatising at the same time. I was camping and we all imbibed around the camp fire. I first noticed something wasn't right when I saw the smoke was not drifting upwards as it usually would but it was flowing as though it were water. As I stared at the sky stars began to blink and pop out of existence until the sky was impossibly dark. Then I noticed that every time the fire crackled I could physically feel it and then all sounds became physical sensations. Colours were so intense as to be uncomfortable to look at so I focused more on the darkness. Even in the dark I could see everything though, and this was on a near moonless night. It became too uncomfortable to sit near the fire any longer as the crackling felt like I was being peppered with small stones so I go up to move back. the air felt so thick as though I was to wade through it like I was wading through water. The ground was soft and yielding and I distinctly remember how much it felt like I was on a "bouncy house". It was difficult to maintain my balance so I lay down on the ground in the grass and as I lay back and relaxed my body I felt the earth reach up and embrace me. I can still feel the warmth and firmness of its "arms" as it wrapped them around me and just held me. It was so intensely peaceful and I felt at that moment that the earth honestly loved me. When I woke up in the morning I could still recall all of this and I decided at that moment I was never going to trip again as I did not want to risk tainting this experience. It was almost as if I had been given a gift and I would spit on it if I tried to get it again.

My friends and I ate pantherena mushrooms and he had an “altered states “ moment where he turned in to a manimal and was growling . We happened to be on the top of a mountain at the time . He was furiously lunging in every direction. And me and another friend were trying to keep him off the cliff side of the mountain, when suddenly our manimal friend punched my other friend in the face and the lurched of into the underbrush , crashing through almost impassable brush . We gave chase and we completely lost him. By now it was getting dark so we headed down the mountain . We called the RCMP and the cop was so pissed off he made us walk back up the mountain with him and then after hours of bushwhacking we found our friend . Asleep under a tree and he refused to walk ,, so my friend and I carried him down in pitch blackness with the cop behind us pointing the flashlight in the direction down the mountain. Best mushroom trip ever.

I loved to take LSD but only on my own. Just nine months ago I was staying with my nan and had some tabs with me, when she went to bed I decided to drop two of them. I had a great trip and I enjoyed every minute of it through the night even though it was very intense. Anyway next day (didn't have a wink of sleep) when I was coming down and going through the post acid trip anxiety stuff, I stayed in the spair room all morning. But come 2pm without me knowing, my nan who has a habit of phoning ambulances for attention only went and called one and it was then my worst nightmare having to face them. The neighbours then came around as the paramedics arrived and to my absolute worst fear I heard she told them "my grandson is upstair 😱... anyway I heard the paramedics coming up the stairs calling "Christopher we need to talk to you" and I had to face them. I never want to be in that situation again, I could have strangled my nan. Give her a damn good reason to be in a ambulance. And that is why I won't do acid again!!

Next morning we woke up come to find the trail was literally fifteen feet away from us and you could make out other campgrounds through the trees.

I had a wireless charger to my right and slightly above my head on a shelf. Normally I could lay there, reach up and just lay my phone on my wireless charger. Well, while laying there tripping, I heard my low battery sound of my phone. I knew I could take my phone out of my pocket and sit it on my charger but it seemed sooooo complicated and difficult to do. I just couldn't do it. I couldn't comprehend how I was going to get my phone out of my pocket and set it on the charger. It sounds so dumb, but being in the state, i just COULD NOT do it for whatever reason. I couldn't figure out how to do it. Not long after that, the bad trip started. lol

It's always the little things that take the trip in the wrong direction. I did the largest dose I've ever done and everything went fine until I had a spider crawl on me. From my shroom fueled perspective that sly little bastard knew exactly what was going on, and was messing with me on purpose. It reappeared three times which reinforced my believe that this creature was actually hyper intelligent and evil, and taking it outside was the most gutwrenching thing in the world. Then the trip really kicked in and I layed helplessly in bed hallucinating tentacles, centipedes and all sorts of creepy gory imagery while desperately trying to sleep it off. No alcohol or anything to help calm down, just me having a complete mental breakdown in a pool of sweat. This trip lasted so long that I could barely fall asleep the following night. Haven't even thought about doing shrooms since. Screw that.

this is the first time I have ever heard an experience that mirrored my own bad trip. Never heard of the repetitive thing nor had anyone else mention it when I'd tell the story. Luckily for me, all of the most repetitive things were in my head, all it caused me to do physically was wander up and down a basement staircase, from my bedroom up to a thirty person party. I must have climbed and descended those stairs over a hundred times, each time for the same reason, and never reached the end of my quest before giving up and coming back down. Repeat. Fortunately I welcomed the idea I may have been dead. I recall disappointment coming out of it because I assumed had I really died I'd have recalled all the incredible things I had understood finally. I think to be the biker you have to have some inherently self destructive tendencies already. It was the acceptance of death that made me not want to do it again, a little too comfy with the idea can happen too. now its two and a half decades later I look forward to retirement and picking up psychedelics again.

I started using psychedelics at 14, then taking them for spiritual purposes and neurological growth when I turned 18. This quote from Paul Stamets sums up a deep thoughtful psychedelic experience that makes you get down to understanding the very nature of your existence and then coming back to the same point, other feelings "Ceterius Paribus". This made me realise that life and death truly are cyclical, the final destination is just the starting point of a journey and vice versa, the journey is what really matters. @@jmccormick1490 I'm 39 been doing shrooms since I was 13, liberty caps grow everywhere in Scotland during autumn so we used to get them in our school field when we were in early teens, ive had many bad experiences especially during the first couple of years taking them, we would go out picking in groups like 5 to 8 ppl easily picking couple hundred each in half hour and would throw the whole lot in a big soup pan so would easily be 1500 in the brew, it would be thick like gravy and we would be tripping within 10 mins really intense come up which would bring on crazy anxiety and usually start off a bad trip, sometimes it would end up being 10 hours of terrifying experience other times I'd fight through the anxiety and would end up being the best laugh ever, trekking through woods in the pitch black or sitting on the edge of the quarry looking down into the abyss we had some brilliant times next day our faces and stomach muscles would be sore from laughing so hard, to me the good trips outweigh the bad ones and I still do them each season but now I'm older and more experienced I usually just have around 300 to 500 in a brew I nvr dry them always just clean them and straight into the pan and I add coffe and sugar to get rid of the taste. What I've learned to do is have a couple of whiskeys or vodkas before taking the shrooms settles the nerves and puts you in the cheery kind of mood which just starts the trip of better everyone that trips knows you have to be in the right state of mind and the setting has to be right for a good trip, also if I'm going for a wild brew say 800 to 1000 I always have some valium on hand just having them is piece of mind and they do work as trip killers , I get anxiety easily just smoking weed can have me almost in a panic state so I think you are like me with the anxiety thing and I really would suggest trying what I said I nvr freak out or have bad trips when I start off a bit tipsy from alcohol. 🍄🍄✌✌

I've been microdosing a couple of weeks now and it helps me with my mood, i take about 3g in the morning 3g after lunch, and 3g beffore sleep. So far so good. But i did a huge misstake one day, i thought, "maybe i should test its potential, try it out for real one time." I took about 15 big caps, one cap weight about 2-3 grams so it was maybe 35-45 gram. I mixed it in my blender with milk, it tasted discusting so not to recomend!... 50 min after intake i started to feel warm, a little swetty, nothing that was overwhelming, i felt calm, cosy. Me and my wife went to bed, but that day i sleept in another room. (i move around in the bed time to time).... I fell asleep and woke up around 00:30 i walked to the bathroom to take a piss. Then suddenly, SWISH, i woke up, again! and i walked to the bathroom, SWOSH, i was back in the bed and went to the bathroom, this started over and over again maybe 20-30 times, suddenly my wife appeared in the sceene and asked: "what are you doing" SWOSH... it started over and over again with some input from the "me" where i actually were but wasnt aware of then. It feelt like i was in 3 places doing stuff in the same time. The most clear pictures and where i though i were the most was in the repetive loop i desperate attempt to break out from, but i couldnt. I suddenly sat on the toilet this was the "second me"... this is where it goes bad, in that "me" i had to shit! At the same time i knew this wasnt real but it was so hard to tell that to myself to the other person who was stuck in that loop.... SWOSH the loop started over again, and i started from the bed again, met my wife, and this time my father in law camed in the door. The loop started over and over again!... SWOSH..... i now sat on the toilet again, started to empty myself, and i heard voices, NO NO NO NO.... SWOSH the loop started again. i meet my wife, father in law, and this time ambulance staff went in the door, SWOSH, back in the loop... while i were in my loop i though of a movie, "Time Traveler", i though i was in some experiement. I Tryed to remember things my wife said in the loop. I asked the staff their name to tell them next time the loop started over. I Suddenly saw my father in law asked him where are the ambulance staff? He said, theres no ambulance staff here, i also asked if i craped myself yet, no, not what i know he said. SWOSH, the loop started over. Now it started to fade, i saw the ambulance staff, my wife in the kitchen, father in law there in the hall. I realised i started to wake up. but the Loop started over again and they lost me, but in the end off the loops i knew what i saw, i knew this wasnt real, it started to clear in the head. Suddenly i stod in the shower, my wife helped me to shower my foot from my crap xD.... i was awake FINALY! But at the same time i could se in front of me, it was totaly clear HD quality of the loop i had experienced, i could see the loop of the scenario but now it only appeared in my head crystal clear in front of my eyes, it was amazing. I followed the staff to the ambulance and while i sat in the Ambulance it almost griped me again, but i focused to not go back in that damn loop again the staff saw me struggling, and i said "no prob i got it and i was back. But i saw everything it was some kind of photographic memory. I knew this would go away, that i never would be able to see this again if i dont take this high dosage, which i never ever will again xD This is a warning to others, with that said, i think amanita muscaria (Muscimol) is a fantastic medicin if it used right, like microdosing. Maybe it is possible to learn to drive this kind of experience with doses like this. This was as i said an awsome experience and scary to, it opened up another understanding of the human mind, brain and what potential it have built in. I could NEVER belive that i was going to experience this kind of stuff. Wow this was alot typing. I hope it was readable my english is little rusty. Thomas Schreiber

I had a similar trip like I had loops to and I had those 3 me‘s or places but 2 of them was a very bad way if I would go this way so I just decided for myself to just be in the first and after some tries it worked and whole trip was over
