@buggeroff No he doesn't, he looks like an American solider, but not the average American. Eastern european soldiers look totally different. Most white Americans are mixed from all over Europe with a bit of West african DNA, that's why alot of them can have a unique look to them especially if they've european ancestors have settled in the US centuries ago.

What I have to say about the matter has already been said before: The Middle East post 1970's has been reduced to tribalist/ pseudo-religious power vacuums. Implementing Democracy into a fractured culture like Iraq/ Afghanistan/ Syria etc. cannot exist as it is today. As you said entering was a mistake simply because the end "goal" was unattainable; leaving was an even greater mistake because we never succeeded in establishing a seed of Democracy. We tried to play the good guy, the liberator, but were unwilling to foot the bill. If nothing else the US military and government performed one of the greatest cultural/ social experiments in human history and found the results wanting.

@@CorrosiveColin Wrong. The US has failed the Middle East with supporting dictators, trying to suppress "communism/socialism" by aiding Islamic extremist groups, & support for Israel, a ethno-state colony. The US does NOT care about democracy. It's about control. The sooner you swallow this red pill, the easier it is to understand US actions abroad. The US supported Saddam until he was of no use. Same as they did with Noriega. The game is the same.

Dan Crenshaw, is in Washington. Crenshaw echos these exact sentiments. The reason why Crenshaw won’t be in a position to make these decisions at the top (any time soon) is because; war is profitable. The amount of money exchanging hands from the firearms factory owners to the veteran or civilian employees who are just trying to pay their bills, is astronomical. This does not include the exchange of materials, mineral and precious resources from different countries in exchange for something we (the U.S.) have. If you want better insight to how these things unfold, seek the Chris Tonto recordings. Post Benghazi. Their was a lot of exchanges happening there. Ambassador Chris and the American contractors there, did not have to die. But, as we veterans well know, no one forced us to join or be there, but there was a dollar to make on each deployment. I too, am guilty of this. Cheers 🍻!

Thomas O'Toole -- That's what I hate about comment sections in general: everyone posts stupid, inconsequential bullshit that really has nothing to do with the topics being discussed during the video/clip. And what's worse is, those shitty comments are the comments that somehow get the most likes, and since the most popular comments get pushed up top, all we get to see are comments written by imbeciles who got nothing out of the clip besides pointing out how Jocko looks like the guy from Call of Duty or Matt Damon or Tito Ortiz. Then there's the classic dumbass Joe Rogan Comment Section posts that just say: "Joe 'Insert something Joe said' Rogan." And for whatever reason, people find it just absolutely hilarious and worthy of an up-vote. Meanwhile, if you dare write more than 2 or 3 sentences and begin to inch toward writing an entire paragraph or two on something that's actually pertinent to what's being discussed in the video, well, first of all, you're likely to be ignored, secondly, most people probably never see you comment because it's buried beneath all the "Jocko looks like Tito Ortiz/Matt Damon on Steroids" comments and the classic "Joe 'Why do people actually still do this shit after it stopped being funny 2 years ago' Rogan," and finally, they will become upset and insult you and call you names for writing too much when they see they would actually have to read. Because reading is apparently some difficult and mentally strenuous task for so many of today's kids who are 25 years-old and younger.
