I do believe you, sir. Definitely rivals anything I have seen in the USA. Excellent work!

that yelling is calle communication, and it was pretty well organized. I'd prefer those guys any time than a FD arriving on scene and taking5 minutes or so to get the water running

don't know if that stuff is also available in the US, maybe at Rosenbauer or so, since we in Europe (where Rosenbauer comes from) we ddo have hose carts as well and also the ladder rackes on our Engines

i think there should a contest between the US FD & Japanese FD and who see is the fastest and more organized.
Wow They know how to get to work. American firemen just most of the time. Take their time and look and talk. Trying to figure where to start.

Street manhole hydrants--yikes!! What happens if a car is parked right over the spot? With above-ground hydrants, firefighters can usually work around an illegally parked vehicle (with some damage to vehicle possible!). I do like the quick-connect hydrant fittings though, and only ~4 turns to open (rather than typically 18 turns). Check out those hose carts(?), the ladder rack, and the casters on the extension ladders. Wow! Is this stuff even available in the US? -Retired Firefighter/EMT

'T Zal ook wel wat met hun cultuur te maken hebben, de manier hoe ze communiceren etc..
@AlohaBiatch10 жыл бұрын
they are not fire hydrants, they are just city water running beneath the manholes. There is no such thing as fire hydrants in Japan.

It is different. There are also fire hydrants in Japan. There is also a fire protection tank.
Waarom zo snel allemaal?

You'd think it was the end of the work all that headless chicken running around and yelling. If they actually took their time and sized up the situation and stopped god damn running they may actually look like a fire dept, not a bunch if headless chickens running around.
we don't rush because when you rush you get hurt. if your calm and walk your safer then running around like a chicken with its head cut off. what would happen if one of hose's in this video got snagged. that firefighter would hit the ground.
