Randall was tough as nails, and really had Chavez's number. He probably should have got the nod the 2nd time too. And that one Mexican judge that scored this fight for Chavez was a disgrace.
@scottodonnell7121 Жыл бұрын
Chavez deserved to lose, especially after a couple of questionable endings. Taylor and Whitaker both fought better than him but couldn't get the win. I think the judges got tired of helping him out. They admitted they called the Whitiker fight a draw because they were afraid of a riot from the mexicans in the stands. Pernell schooled JCC all night. His record is very overrated.

Same here, but looking back I see how great. Chavez was. He always moved one and a half steps forward after any step back, always pressing. He never seemed to be fazed by any solid punches. It was shocking to see him go down for a few seconds. He probably would have won a very close fight if he hadn't gone down from that great right by Randall. Randall really put it in the work in this fight though and matched blow for blow, and didn't give up when it seemed like Chavez was unfazed. A great fight.

Floyd Mayweather mentioned Frankie Randall beating Chavez and how he used to hang out with Frankie Randall when he was a teenager Frankie Randall bought him his first Versace glasses used to let him drive his cars they were really tight, so I came to this fight so glad I did didn't see it when I was young cat Floyd keeps giving 👍🏻.

Chávez was a great fighter, albeit a one-dimensional fighter. He had only one plan. Pressure forward, close the gap, hit the body until the head falls. Randall perfectly timed straight right was too much for JCC and he ate it all night long.

Chavez was never as great as people thought he was. Fought a bunch of nobodies to get that record. He had power and a chin. Salvador Sanchez and Canelo were much better as they both displayed skill and power, they actually boxed. Frankie Randall very much deserved win right here. Showed that skill actually plays a part in a fight.

The Best comment of all the comments.People just talk but don't understand THE Legend Julio Cesar Chávez dark momento. Frankie Randall yes he won, one THING Is what the Frankie Randall fans see AND another Is what only Chávez AND His drug demons on that ring Chávez was going through. Chávez vs Randall AND chavez's drug demons. But of course it's not Frankie randals' fault. But A sane healthy Chávez Frankie Randal would be KO'd AND that would have BEEN a different outcome.
