The versatile forward averaged 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game in the Bucks 4-2 win over the Phoenix Suns.

People say Jrue was inconsistent but he always showed up defensively and almost had a Triple Double in Game 6.

Beast on defence, "Inconsistent" on offence but he led all players with 9.3 assists while having the ball less than both Giannis and Middleton! (in his 1st season with the Bucks!) He also arguably had the best game of his life in a very important game 5 when they were initially down 16. Everybody expects PGs to be like Steph or Lillard nowadays. He'll obviously have off-shooting nights when he has to guard ball dominant players CP3 & Devin Booker all game.

It was a privilege watching this NBA finals from start to finish. During the games I found myself many times being frustrated at the play of Jrue Holiday, but looking back now with the benefit of hindsight, that was a great finals performance from him, especially on the defensive side of the ball. He will go down in history as one of the best defensive players in the guard positions, and particularly at the point guard position. Maybe only Gary Payton would rank ahead of him.

His shooting/finishing was inconsistant, but he stayed aggresive and never looked rattled..! His defence was next level and a major difference maker throughout the series

@@Bookake-2 Stockton and Kidd were not great on the ball defenders. Some will consider it blasphemous to say it, but even CP3 and Lowry in their primes were better on the ball defenders than both of them. Where Stockton in particular excelled, was getting in the passing lanes and stealing a lot of balls. If that is the benchmark of being a great defender, then Allen Iverson should be considered a great defender too.

By practicing those exact plays thousands of times. Eventually, you just have a natural feel for where to throw it.

@@chriskay1449 LOL Obviously Jrue wanted to hold it, Suns had to foul no matter what. Giannis called for it and he made a perfect pass, CP3 tried to take out Giannis mid-air but he still dunked it.

Give this man some props. Casuals usually don't see the defensive impact a player makes. I always tell my friends to go check to see who hes defending most of the game, then check that players stats. Then check that players avg points per game and lmk how it is. He made CP3 have some TERRIBLE games this series, absolutely terrible games.
