Im happy for jrue the man was underrated for a long part of his career not getting the recognition that he deserves it’s good to see him succeed he sacrificed himself a lot for his wife who had tumor and for that you to respect this man

NBA Champion and now Gold Medalist. Truly made a difference when he started for Team USA. Defensively just took it to another whole level. Love the Jrue's set. Just Chillin.

@@sirpreece9355 Ehh...that's a LOOONG shot. And frankly...not sure I really want him to win one. With the last two years and the way they pushed those condensed those two seasons, then the Olympics, for him to win DPOY, he'd have to play with that same level of intensity for all 82 next year(or close enough) to pass up the big men who always get the nod. Honestly, with DiVincenzo coming back, he can share the defensive load. Bam, Giannis, Ayton, Embiid, DPOY will be a mobile big. Maybe Siakam...who knows, but unlikely a guard.

@Ty Lito respected amongst players? Absolutely. It’s just the media that doesn’t give him credit. Jrue’s game is based primarily on elite defensive ability and unfortunately that just doesn’t garner the same amount of eyes an elite offensive player would.

Speaking of Jrue's defense, Legend of Winning had a great livestream clip highlighting how the Suns were intentionally avoiding him. Jrue would guard a guy and Phoenix would just put that guy in the corner. He was turning CP3 and Booker into corner shooters just by existing on the court.

I picked the Bucks to win it all once they acquired Jrue.His professionalism, toughness on both ends and just the fact that he would have the ball in his hands instead of Giannis was key.They potentially can repeat if all the pieces fall in place.

Really the only player in the playoffs who he didnt slow down was Kyrie everybody else Book, Cp3, The entire Miami heat, The Hawks he gave all of them problems

This is one of the best basketball interviews of all time. You can see the purity that Jrue has from having one of the truest basketball runs in history. He looks exhausted and has a sense that he hasn’t been able to fully realize the monumental accomplishments of the past months. JJ and Tommy did and incredible job encapsulating the insane moments from a fan AND players perspective and it gave Jrue an amazing stage to share his wholehearted perspectives. First off congrats Jrue! One of my most favorite families ever - Jrue & Lauren Holiday. Amazing people that do absolutely incredible things in their respective sports and for other people. So happy Jrue won both the championship and a gold medal so now he’s a bit closer to Lauren’s status cuz she’s just a straight up beast! I am so thrilled he came to Milwaukee and wants to stay! Great interview and crossing fingers some day JJ has them both on together!

I am really proud of Jrue. Even right after game 6 of the NBA finals I couldn’t believe the Bucks won the championship. With that being said, I have no idea what to expect next season but one thing for certain is I am looking forward to next season already.

I wasn't even rooting for Milwaukee when the playoffs started, but once they got past Brooklyn I was all in only because I wanted Jrue to get a chip. I've been a fan of his since his early years with the Sixers and had always liked his game and especially his defense. He's a solid dude as well, so anything positive that may come his way is well earned and deserved.

I think the nba should adopt the rule where if a ball is bouncing on the rim the players can snatch it up without a goaltending call. That rule is dope

I like that the defender is protected over seas would make games closer and make rivalries more chippy (like back in the days between Chi vs Det etc). More fun to watch a 100-98 game instead of the last few minutes not even being competitive in most games.
