JSB, KSO Ccpur Start Picketing Govt Offices over CBSE Affiliation Row, Suspension of ZEO Officials

Following their protest against the disaffiliation of 25 schools from CBSE, the unjust suspension of three ZEO officials, and the recent burning of schools in Moreh allegedly by Police Commandos, the Joint Students Body (JSB) Lamka and Kuki Students’ Organization Churachandpur took further action today by locking the offices of the District Administration in Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts on Friday.
This symbolic act is a continuation of their protest against the authorities’ lack of response to their demands for reinstating the suspended officials and re-affiliating the schools under CBSE.
Leaders of the JSB Lamka and KSO Churachandpur, along with volunteers, locked the gates of the two district administration offices on Friday morning.
Speaking to the media after locking the gates, Joint Secretary of JSB Lamka, Samuel Taithul, expressed frustration at the absence of a positive response to their demand for the reversal of the disaffiliation of the 25 schools in Kangpokpi and Churachandpur districts from CBSE.
Samuel asserted that the disaffiliation of the schools occurred due to political pressure and interference by the state government. The students’ body is urging the central government to resist the influence and pressure exerted by the state government. Samuel emphasized that all schools once affiliated with CBSE, later disaffiliated, must be affiliated again. He stated that the locked government offices will remain closed indefinitely until their demands are fulfilled.
On January 18, 2024, various schools and students in Churachandpur and Kangpokpi district headquarters conducted a mass rally demanding the reversal of disaffiliation for 25 schools by CBSE, the reinstatement of three suspended ZEO officials, and an inquiry into the burning of three schools in Moreh.

...some kuki/kuh ki (Persian= mountain people) i.e. suktes, khongjais (aka khun chai/thokpa), etc. were imported from OUTSIDE the southside of Manipur Kingdom by the then Meitei kings around mid-late 1700's and later by the British around early-mid 1800's; and implanted in the unadministered hills surrounding the Manipur Valley (to act as a "buffer-zone" to protect against the frequent raids by the northern Angami tribes) in the last 200-300 yrs only...but recently, those "old" Kukis started importing more and more of their kind and NOW they're claiming this land as theirs. The British intentionally and wilfully divided the Kuki-Zo-Chin's ORIGINAL HOMELAND aka Chin state of 🇲🇲 + Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 + Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳, politically between and amongst those 3 countries (🇲🇲 🇧🇩 and 🇮🇳), as a retribution for their failed uprising/revolt/rebellion (1917-19) NOT anglo-kuki war (instigated by a meitei to overthrow a meitei king by promising reduced house taxes) against the British's policy (for recruitment of kukis as laborers/porters under manipur labor corps) during WW1 (1914-18). As a centrist Meitei, I wholeheartedly support and endorse the creation of a Separate Administration or a New Sovereign Nation/Country, specifically and exclusively for the Kuki-Zo-Chin people, aka Kukiland/Zale'ngam/Zogam, comprising of and consolidating the Chin state/hills of 🇲🇲, the Chittagong hill tracts of 🇧🇩 and the Lushai hills aka Mizoram of India 🇮🇳. It's about time the 🇲🇲 junta and the 🇧🇩 govt return back chin state/hills and chittagong hill tracts, respectively, to kuki zo chin people (which rightfully belonged to their ancestors). Imaginary "DREAM"land kukiland = Ccp + Pherzawl + Noney + Kpi (so-called Selected Area Development Administrative Region Hills) + Kamjong + Tengnoupal + Chandel, of UNITED DISTRICTS of MANIPUR. REAL ORI kukiland = chin state/hills + lushai hills/mizoram + chittagong hill tracts!
