I wished MGM would make some animated movies more often because I wish they would do that and if only none of their animated movies would be box office bombs just because of Disney’s popularity of theirs.

Funny thing about this is.... The Secret of Nimh, The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Black Stallion,Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Fiddler on the Roof are NOT MGM movies. They are United Artists movies that MGM acquired after purchasing them in the 80s. The reason for this is MGM was briefly bought by Turner in 1986 before being sold back to the original owners. But because of legal mumbo jumbo, Turner kept ALL of MGM's movie library from 1924-1986.(and a few of United Artists' movies) So, MGM just remarket all UA movies as their own. And add on the hilariousness, Turner merged with MGM founder's(Louis B. Mayer) arch-rival, Warner Brothers.
