Welcome Back!
Join me today as we fly JSX or JetSuite X from Concord, CA (up near Napa Valley) down to Burbank, CA (and back a few days later). JSX is a "regional" "private" airline that is technically a part of jetBlue, just another part of David Neeleman's airline empire. The flight was great, the terminal was better, and the cheap fare of $69 sealed the deal.
If you like this type of flying, check out my video on the SurfAir experience. Another semi-private type of flying in the US [ • [SEMI-PRIVATE EXPERIEN... ]. I hope you all enjoy the video, stay tuned for more soon.
Tailwinds,
Patrick

JSX was great. I’ve now flown them a couple times, they just don’t usually go far enough considering most of the flying I have to do is to the New England area from San Francisco area. Welcome to the channel! Great to “virtually” have you around!

I flew a single flight segment, HPN to MCO last week. Very enjoyable experience all around.

If you use go rentals its great basically curbside to the JSX building for pick up and drop off, best rental car service ever. Also at SNA if you park with the valet when you land they have your car running and trunk open ready to go when you walk out of the building. JSX is truly the closest thing to private you can get flying commercial.

Totally! I didn’t get to take advantage of that today, but it’s a huge benefit

i have been marathoning your videos and i love the quality getting better and better by each video, the longer videos especially make me feel like i am taking the trip myself such a unique experience, would you recommend flying JSX just for the feel of it?

Welcome to my channel!! That’s always been my goal - to make people feel like they’re along for the whole journey. I always enjoy traveling for the whole experience (which for me starts on the way to the airport). I would recommend JSX, especially if you haven’t tried it. As long as they go between cities you are interested in, I’d take advantage of it

Neeleman is the CEO, Brian Wilcox is the owner. So, technically, it's part of Wilcox's "empire". (Nelleman, also, no longer owns JetBlue.)

what's the feel like? is it bumpy or more movement than a large jet? I am considering this airline from Austin to San Diego...thanks! Great video.

It was a totally smooth flight. Any turbulence felt by this plane would be felt by any of the airliners between those cities

Does TSA require all passengers and crew must be screened when boarding a commercial airplane?
@PatrickSheaAviation
@PatrickSheaAviation Жыл бұрын
Because we aren’t going in to the commercial terminal, screening is a bit different. We did have a simple scanner we walked through with our bags, but nothing formal, like TSA

JSX is a very reasonably priced airline. Flights on their shorter routes starting at $50. I paid $300 for a round trip ticket and the experience was worth every penny
