This video covers the installation of our Diesel JT Gladiator specific skid system with UHMW. Building off of our existing belly skid video, this will show you exactly what you will need to do to get a set of our aluminum and UHMW skids installed.
Factory skids on your Jeep JL/ JT/ JK leave your oil pan and transmission skid exposed and are not ideal long term for repeated rock crawling and heavy trail use. A full steel system is heavy, and aluminum doesn't have the best wear/ abrasion resistance on it's own. We combine 1/4" steel cross members and brackets, 1/4" aluminum skids, and a bottom wear surface layer of 3/8" UHMW for a great combination of high strength and durability.
