Now put some respect in the name of De Gea, and acknowledge his contributions for this club. He stayed here for more than 10 years. Also, city won that final because they were so good.

David De Gea saved Man Utd so many times when he had complete idiots for defenders he stopped Man Utd from being a complete and utter mid table joke for many years. His clean sheets and amazing saves have made up for his poor defenders he's saddled with and the fact Man Utd don't score enough goals. They replaced him with Bannana despite the fact he got the golden glove. David De Gea was the difference between mid table medicority and competing for a top 4 finish.

Won the matt busby player of the year award 4 times the joint most out of any player. 7th most appearances for United, most as a GK. Spent 12 years, won a PL, won a europa league, won Fa Cup, carabao only the CL is missing. Almost singlehandedly got us 2nd place in 17/18. He was also top 3 GKs in 2010s decade even nominated for a ballon dor. What else do you want?? Easily a legend.

This video made me shed a tear or two…11-12 years at the club, I was a boy and now I’m in my 20s and De Gea and United were always the constant for me. Stood by him through it all even when others were turning their backs on him but what a servant he has been for us. Truly an United legend. Thank you De Gea

Remember this man only had Rio and Vidic in his early years, at times he has had to be the hero when total donkeys are in defence and he has still won golden gloves and won MUFC trophies. The way he has been cast aside is shocking. David De Gea is Van Der Sarr or Peter Schmiechel leves of brilliant and both of those two had better defenders to back them up.

This man has been the one constant at this club in the post Fergie era.. the toughest period of the club since Munich. To be honest.. he saved not only my love for the club but for the sport just like he saved so many shots and points over the years. He s only human, anyone else under that pressure and all that upheaval at the club for 12 years wouldnt have lasted half that. Legend. Thank you for everything David, cant wait for your testimonial. How can you be United fan and not acknowledge what he has given to this club over the years, especially Keane. He saved us in darkest of times, proved himself amongst world's best and didn't even get a send off he deserves. Feels unreal and feels like he could still be in between the sticks next season. Friendly Reminder - De Gea is yet to receive a farewell video from the Manchester United YT channel itself. 12 years of service , 4 club player of the year awards(joint highest) and 2 PL Golden Gloves and yet he can't receive a proper farewell. That 17/18 season alone would be enough to put anyone in the history books. Greatest utd player post Fergie. 3rd best GK of the 2010s decade only behind Neuer and Buffon who are often considered the greatest players ever and had an amazing defense in front of them. The sheer amount of times he single handedly saved matches is uncountable. Thank you De Gea. Forever Red❤.

This man never got the defense line he deserved and once things got in place it was probably too late. He stepped up on his own and saved us for years, probably the only goalkeeper of the modern era who could pull a crowd with his name on the team sheet, I hope he finds a decent club cause he still has the dawg in him and once done with his playing career I would love to see him back in United in some capacity or other. He was like the protagonist from a Shakespearean play where he was good but also had his flaws. But the good he did for the club outweigh any of his flaws. He was here for so long that not seeing de gea on the team sheet will not feel like Manchester United team sheet at all.
