Funny is that on Caucasus front on the south of the Stalingrad was a units and military depots supplied by Lend-lease. Caucasus was one form five main depots in SSSR. It is not common that on Stalingrad front was mainly units supplied by Soviet industry by KV or T-34/76 tank and La-5 planes while Southern front was supplied by US and British equipment like M4 Shermans or Valentine tank and P-39 Aircobras fighter which SSSR have most in active service and have many aces on those machines.
