Yup, the first episode of my own building tutorial! I really hope this helps! Also, this is only part 1 out of 2 for the gameplay section, and
Part 2 will come out in 2-3 days, then I may or may not make a video on time lost plain. Lastly, the place that I recorded the gameplay at will prob be public soon, so you can refer to that if you want!

This helped so much, it pretty much said to me use crazy rotation and different parts as I was always using normal square parts u also pointed out simple things as. adding a unique shape to spice the looks of the gameplay a little more, and what to avoid and what to do which is very helpful to me!

As a builder, there isn’t really a way to make good gameplay simply by watching a video. It’s something you have to find out on your own, which is one of the reasons why there aren’t many videos on this topic. My advice is to play towers for inspiration and build in studio as much as you can and eventually you will figure things out.

As another guy who builds towers, i strongly disagree with your statement, especially beacuse of stuff they certainly wouldnt know about. For example rotation and difficulty consistency. Trust me i have seen someone who liked adding difficulty spikes. Look at the first towers of any vb and you will probably see the issues. Building tips can be VERY important for builders who just started.

Beginner builders would need to learn the basics of building before getting tips, otherwise they’d struggle. I’d just recommend finding your own style and constantly improving it how YOU like it instead of how others like it, or you’ll get demotivated.

i am an builder, not really but one thing you need to note is part count, if theres like 1 trillion (like CoTSFT) then the player will lag thus not having much frames, which makes then slower

another tip: get your friends to play ur tower or something and they let you know what is un-enjoyable or not (or confusing)

I am kind of good when it comes to mid-air gameplay like on Floor 5 gameplay or something, But the only thing that is bothering and hindering me to even try making my first tower is what starts the gameplay.

it helped so much, I even used 0.01 snap to grid to make creative gameplay in tower creator

Any tips on building 50x50 framed towers in obby creator? There is very limited space so i can't build creative gameplay which requires large space.

I guess you could check if any client objects have like 2 client object thingies in it, I don’t build but I have read the read me in the kit cuz I plan to.

Mwuhahahaha im going to do the opposite of what you daid and make the inside empty and make the outisde chaotic, Tower of Overused Outside Sections will be the towers name (the inside will not be empty actually

4:17 honestly thats not even that cramped, you could make obstacles that you have to squeeze yourself in a 1 stud space to represent

It’s just a example and cramped gameplay doesn’t mean that you have to fit through 1 stud gaps, it can also be jumps where your camera messes up :0

The hard part of this is building it.. I seriously dont know what difficulty is which as i have only played easy and medium towers. i dont know what to say but i dont think it helps.

Try not to build towers that are way above your skill range, you could try to build a medium or hard though. Like I’ve seen some absolutely trash towers that were trash because the creator tried to make a catastrophic when their hardest was intense.

God no puzzles are the worst thing In jtoh towers imo they ruin the experience I play jtoh to do obbies not to solve a 3 year long puzzle that gets in the way of my progression plz don't add puzzles to your towers unless all you care about is passing
