Good job Sammy, and I'm 76 years old lost my Dad 14 years ago and i miss him every day. He taught me a girl, just like he taught my brothers, how to take care of myself, garden, and work. This world would greatly benefit from a million other Dads like yours and mine.

Good job Sammy. If you can find someone pulling out well pipe, then use the subsoiler to trench it to the garden, saves a lot of hose pulling. Just put hosr fitting on each end so you dont have it connected directly to your house plumbing.

It's Teflon pipe tape which helps seal. It also goes on clockwise with the way the pipe screws on.

There's a little screw and when turning the screw into the water stream Breaking up the stream and causing it not to shoot out so far. Plus it provides better dispersion. You will have to play with it to see what you get out of Yours.

Hello Sam. It's good to see you doing a video on your own. And great to hear you giving credit, respect, and appreciation to your dad for teaching you so much. You're doing a great job with your explaining and describing as well as the videoing. The white stuff that goes on the pipe threads is called Teflon tape. Always take extra tools to the job with you. If you had taken 2 pipe wrenches to the field, you probably could have gotten the sprinkler head off the pipe right there.

Teflon tape is just one brand of the pipe tape. The first one was made of Teflon. Now there are several different companies making it. I don't mean to be critical but you wrapped the tape on the pipe backwards. It should be wrapped in the direction the you screw the pipe. I worked for Dupont who developed Teflon for 42 years. Seventeen of them in the Teflon plant. In the early years we were the sole maker of Teflon in the world. I appreciate how you gave credit to your dad. My dad was the same way. I find that I have now become the one teaching the younger generation. I hope I have done my job well because I am 80 years young so soon it will be my children's turn to pass it down.
