He was a real "Show Man" 🎉 'cause the objective of his concerts was to entertain fans, to offer them a huge celebration like a private party and that's what people loved about him, his passion, his professionalism, his humility and his heart delivery. We missed one of the greatest singers in Mexico. Hugs and kisses 🥰

Man! That song is so emotional but yet so powerful. Those lyrics. No wonder he was one of the greatest lyricsts in Latin America.
@andresjordano66084 жыл бұрын
So wrong. He was. Popular and prolific, but greatest lyricist?! Pff. He might be the worst lyricist of them all.
@blues2oo4 жыл бұрын
@@andresjordano6608 No, he was popular, prolific and a great lyricist and songwriter. His extensive catalog, of not just big hits, but countless classics proofs it. Give us the name of who you consider a great lyricist.
@andresjordano66084 жыл бұрын
@@blues2oo I barely understand your English, but he was a bad lyricist with grammar mistakes in them. And who are good lyricist? Manzanero, Agustin Lara, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Maria Griever, Vonduelo Velazquez.....even Marco Antonio Solis. He had many popular songs but the most simplistic lyrics. His strenght was in melodies not lyrics.
@blues2oo4 жыл бұрын
Andres Jordano It's funny that you inserted an irrelevant comment about my English at the beginning of your response trying to minimize my comment. Great strategy, but a failed one, nonetheless. And by the way, it's CONSUELO Velazquez, not VONDUELO Velazquez. I'm sure someone so fixated on grammar should know how to write her name correctly. And it's also funny, that the source that you may used to come up with a few names, such as "Los Mejores compositores Mexicanos", put Juan Gabriel high on their list. As a matter of fact, he is number two, right after José Alfredo Jiménez. But I guess your ignorant and irrelevant opinion is enough to discredit the opinion of many people, including of those who work in the music business/industry. And let me clarify something to you, to be a great lyricist you don't have to write highly intellectual and complex songs, but songs that resonate with the audience or the listener. And seems like you are unaware of the term poetic license. I suggest you climb down your high horse and look up its meaning. It may help you in the future.

Losing anyone is painful... losing your mom is life changing. I remember when my mother past away, a large part of me left with her. She was my religion, my voice to reason, my everything. I don’t know you Gema and I didn’t know your mother, but I do know your pain. The only thing that keeps me close to her is music, because I could hear her voice singing the lyrics. May God bless our mothers and keep our memories strong and pure.
